Will be when it finally happens and if it does happen I think this will be the best start to a transfer wimdow weve had for a long time

Good point.

Some people might not be interest in Rovers and this coming season but at least we are.

Hopefully we can make a good start this season. Looking forward to it even now.

Especially if we can also get an exciting youngster in on loan this werk as well

werk? I know spelling is not my best but I can manage week.

Must be great going from self confessed proud non attendee arm chair fan to venky loving super fan .

At least we are? You are wearing the loyal Rovers fan like a badge of honour. Take note of the more sensible posters who have Rovers in their blood who will still be going. They fully understand why fans of many years are boycotting and don't make smug, inflammatory comments.

Sorry Chaddy have to take issue with this.

Just because people are not going to Ewood it does not mean that they have not interested in Rovers. It is quite the opposite.

Said it many many many times , people like chaddy are the reason venkys wont feel pressure because no matter what they throw at us there will always be badge wearing "super fans" who love being on the receiving end of a good thrashing , they treat anyone who says anything critical like dog doo ,just like the lunes do.

Things may still be a horror show at boardroom and ownership level, but at a footballing level things asre currently looking rosier, coyle still has it all to prove come matchdays but the transfers he's making are promising and he's saying all the right things, also the players)at least) seem to really like him.

As ever you are over simplifying and pigeon holing. That said, Chaddy occasionally posts stuff that is difficult to defend and his last one was a bit naughty. That in no way justifies the vitriol he is subjected to by some.

On the Graham front, I'd be really pleased if he signs and he and Stokes should form a very serviceable front two.

Some people might suggest that this is an inflammatory comment and reinforces why so many posters seem to have an issue with you.

I wouldn't, as I would always resist such a reply, however I can see why you wind up some people.

You might want to reconsider your comment?

Point well made. It is the opposite.

Still, it might be interesting if Venky's have actually decided to allow Coyle to assemble a decent squad...

They have dismantled the stately home, but seem to be erecting some nice portacabins, oh and that looks like a gift shop.....

When you're bored of blaming the owners, the directors, the staff, the accountants, the ground staff, the youth staff, the players, the substitutes and then the shop employees..

Move on to blaming the fans.

If this post is removed and the others stay up, I'll be rather angry.

I see your point, but it certainly isn't 'quite the opposite'.

It's a clear abandonment of support for the football club for sure, yes they retain an 'interest' in the club, but the mere fact they no longer attend because of management, shows they now have less support for the club than before.

I've tried to avoid commenting recently but you can be a bit smug Chaddy, I know sometimes people on here get you down but you don't help yourself.

Not so long ago you were bashing the decision making of the club and now you've gone completely the other way. We've only signed a young player, a controversial player who may turn out to be decent, and it's looking like we're signing a player we had last season. We're still running on vapors. It doesn't take much does it.

Mine was actually quite conciliatory and I offered an opinion on what I believe could be quite a potent front two. Now it's gone. Bizarre.

Blindly turning up is not supporting a team.

An argument could actually made that you are harming the club by turning up, therefore not supporting.

Stoke and Graham upfront is already an improvement on our strike force that finished the season. I didn't expect us to improve in any area so it is a pleasant surprise. Now for midfield and defence...

I was never too hopeful about Coyle but despite that I am happy about our transfer business to this point and it has given me a bit of hope for the season ahead that I didn't have a few weeks back. Credit where it is due there.

You miss their viewpoint completely. They are saying very clearly that they won't give their support to the owners and the way they're running the club. They're saying that if the owners continue to run it the way they do, they can't count on their backing. Just as many fans did after the alleged 1960 FA cup final ticket fiasco.

Hanging to his every word?

I did say take with a large pinch of salt

It is ludicrous that he's talking about the club on Twitter though

It's nothing personal Tom, but reading Coyles sons tweets is hanging on to his every word in my book, why would anyone read his sons tweets? He's a nobody?
