Gav Posted June 24, 2016 Posted June 24, 2016 Whats happened to mercers man in London telling us he's 99% sure we're signing Toral? Was supposed to get done at the latest Thursday? I wouldn't usually bother, but I'm got a couple of Brummies wound up to the hilt on this snippet of information. Mercer, mercer, mercer......?

Come on man, rule 101 of the BRFCS handbook is don't get excited by a Mercerman rumour. His record is as bad as anyone's.
Pedro Posted June 24, 2016 Posted June 24, 2016 Im sure eventually one of us will learn how to spell Darraghs name correctly:) Strange how 2 people who watch the same things can have markedly opposite views. I wouldn't have offered Evans a new contract after his injury record, and inability to make a difference when in the team. Much sooner give Darragh the chance to prove himself, knowing Lowe can do the same sideways passing and pointing at opposition players he wants someone else to mark, a technique brought to the club by Keef, should Lenihan have a downturn in form I've no problem with that. Evans made a load of cute, first time, 10-15yard passes to take the pressure off and some sneaky through balls under Lambert. He was creating the tempo and we looked good with him in there. Before that, I thought he was poor and pointless. Baz Posted June 24, 2016 Posted June 24, 2016 Jack Byrne could turn out to be a master stroke, but he's only a kid, and could struggle in the rough and tumble physicality of the championship (especially if we are looking to play Graham and Stokes up top - so a 4 man midfield), id like a bit of experienced creativity in CM too. I thought it was something Gomez would have given us, but he didn't.

bob fleming Posted June 24, 2016 Posted June 24, 2016 Not true. It's worse. Indeed. He normally hints at the very end of time or at the very least something about things about to get worse, a lot worse. Very soon. It used to involve the ritual slaughter, sorry, selling, of Jordon bloody Rhodes, every single transfer window. Then for some reason he didn't hint at that in January, so we sold him. I'm not blaming him by the way. Anyway, he's a good guy as far as I'm concerned. Like everyone on here bar a few, just take it all with a pinch of salt. Job done. By the way Amarillo, that cueing action on your avatar is fecking abysmal. Still, not to worry.
Amo Posted June 24, 2016 Posted June 24, 2016 We sign Stephen Hendry and suddenly everyone's a snooker expert.
MI ROVER Posted June 24, 2016 Posted June 24, 2016 Hope not - for the sake of those who will still attend Improvement on Steele surely

She needs to get her chin down on the cue and stick out her arse a little bit. The trouble is I can see her disturbing a few balls with that chest. Truth be told I think she's probably got no future in snooker. I wonder if she's ever thought about a career in titillation?
bob fleming Posted June 24, 2016 Posted June 24, 2016 ..Ha never noticed the cue. Attention to detail you see. Don't get me wrong, I didn't for the first few days. Now I just can't past it. That and her lovely hair. And what appears to be quite a nervous twitch - aka the yips. Terrible player all in all.

Had you never followed the outcome of a Mercerman claim before?

Neal Posted June 24, 2016 Posted June 24, 2016 Hope the loan "prospect" isn't faltering! Seems to be dragging on Nixon said it's done this evening... For what its worth.
The Rover of Finland Posted June 24, 2016 Posted June 24, 2016 Nixon said it's done this evening... For what its worth.Do you mean Byrne?
SoldierMo Posted June 24, 2016 Posted June 24, 2016 Aaah mercerman i did take it with a pinch of salt regarding toral but he was soo soo sure
booth Posted June 24, 2016 Posted June 24, 2016 Do you mean Byrne? Bennett is on Twitter saying another good signing. I think it's Byrne. Got a feeling that they are waiting to seal the deal with Feeney so they can announce them both together, sneak the not so good news out with the better news.
patrickvalery Posted June 24, 2016 Posted June 24, 2016 Feeney and Byrne. Every turd has a golden puddle.
oldjamfan1 Posted June 24, 2016 Posted June 24, 2016 When Jack Byrne is announced somebody will need to make up a song for him. If only his name rhymed with something.........
