frosty Posted November 25, 2016 Posted November 25, 2016 5-2 for Forest, at this rate Barnsley might actually be one of the few teams we have a chance of finishing above.
Husky Posted November 25, 2016 Posted November 25, 2016 5-2 for Forest, at this rate Barnsley might actually be one of the few teams we have a chance of finishing above. I called it a while back #ImNoMercer
Husky Posted November 26, 2016 Posted November 26, 2016 Any word on how well the Rovers 'half season tickets' are doing? I notice they don't even attempt a 'slogan' these days. Who'd have thought I'd miss the 'Push for Promotion' days.
Backroom Tom Posted November 26, 2016 Backroom Posted November 26, 2016 Burton leading at preston is bad they are one of the few hopes we have! Edit 1-1 on half time
Husky Posted November 26, 2016 Posted November 26, 2016 Forgot to mention - after last nights game they suddenly started murmuring that Forest 'were only 5 points off the play-offs'. Norwich looked like world beaters at Ewood back in August - now what's happened to them? It's almost anyone's league this - as usual! BELIEVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

BELIEVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! i know we have just beat the league leaders but i will happily settle for 4th from bottom.
Husky Posted November 27, 2016 Posted November 27, 2016 i know we have just beat the league leaders but i will happily settle for 4th from bottom. This was predicted some time ago wasn't it. That it wouldn't be long before we'd go from only accepting a play-off challenge to accepting 4th from bottom as being a good season. It's happened . . . arggghhhhhh! Though it doesn't take long for fans to accept and adapt. People keep saying - this league is unforgiving - yet at the same time that gives hope to almost all. Early pace-setters Norwich 13 points off the top? Leeds in 5th? Derby one win from the play-offs? Rovers above Paul Lambert's Wolves? JESUS!
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted November 27, 2016 Posted November 27, 2016 Yep,that's how bad matters have become, that's how low fan expectation is....battered through the floor. Reduced to a fight to stay in this league with the likes of Rotherham,Wigan et al. Sobering food for thought after yesterday's rare victory.
RevidgeBlue Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 Good to see Lambert is working his magic already. Won't be long before he declares Wolves have to decide which way they want to go and demands a 30m January transfer budget.
J*B Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 Good to see Lambert is working his magic already. Won't be long before he declares Wolves have to decide which way they want to go and demands a 30m January transfer budget. Wolves are the richest club in the league, he will get at least that.
philipl Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 On current form, Barnsley will be in deep trouble. They got their season off to a flyer and are now struggling badly.
tomphil Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 Signs of the times at BRFC. Amazing stuff it's not often the league stacks up in complete order of crowds. Nobody is punching above their weight anymore it seems although in true terms we are seriously under performing on and off the pitch. Go back to the last 4 seasons 14k ish average and ave away followings of 1k and we are one of the biggest under achievers.
Neil Weaver Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 Looks to be a few odd ones there, especially in that away followings list eg do Brum really have an average away following of 1765, Brentford of 1362? Perhaps a few local derbies have skewed the figures after only, what a third of the season?

Tyrone Shoelaces Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 It'll be all that winning pay they're having to shell out.
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 Rotherham just told Kenny to get his Jackett. They don't mess about do they ?
Hanks Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 Rotherham just told Kenny to get his Jackett. They don't mess about do they ? It now says he resigned, perhaps he has another job lined up.
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 It now says he resigned, perhaps he has another job lined up. Yeah, you've got to love pro football. When one door closes another opens.
1arC Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 Bolton going under http://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/news/14932514.Wanderers_will_face_administration_next_month_without_boardroom_deal/ With a new chairman appointed last year called Anderson, the writing was on the wall for the Wanderers.
chaddyrovers Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 Rotherham just told Kenny to get his Jackett. They don't mess about do they ? Jackett decided to walk away according to local reports due lack of funds and not being able to invest in the squad
Neil Weaver Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 Jackett decided to walk away according to local reports due lack of funds and not being able to invest in the squad Would that be otherwise known as 'doing a Lambert'?
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 Jackett decided to walk away according to local reports due lack of funds and not being able to invest in the squad Fair enough, I stand corrected.
frosty Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 Huddersfield have fallen apart last few games - good news for Saturday, bad news that Wigan got three points.
