G Somerset Rover Posted February 18, 2017 Posted February 18, 2017 Burton have won. Try spinning the table into a positive now Owen you plank. We'll lose at their place next week, no doubt about it.

roverandout Posted February 18, 2017 Posted February 18, 2017 Missed out on the best manager in the championship. Who needs neil warnock, eh?
Backroom Tom Posted February 18, 2017 Backroom Posted February 18, 2017 Burton play again midweek as well they could be 8 points ahead of us before we even play them, meanwhile we are stuck with Coyle and any win seems beyond us. Its over sadly

Rovers Director Mike Cheston said: "We are delighted to welcome Owen to the club. We took our time and conducted a thorough search and Owen was the standout candidate. "He brings with him a wealth of management experience, a strong track record in the Championship and we believe he will complement our existing coaching staff perfectly. "He meets all of the criteria we were looking for and we firmly believe he is the right man to take this club forward."
Mattyblue Posted February 18, 2017 Posted February 18, 2017 The reality is that we just don't win matches, are on the verge of the third tier, yet we have an unsackable manager. Very clear that those running/owning Blackburn Rovers have no interest in survival, the question is, why?
Dunnfc Posted February 18, 2017 Posted February 18, 2017 Going to be a full blown riot at Ewood if this carries on.
G Somerset Rover Posted February 18, 2017 Posted February 18, 2017 Even the most optimistic of Rovers' fans can surely acknowledge that we're goosed this season.
roverandout Posted February 18, 2017 Posted February 18, 2017 Should have been one months ago, sadly to many brainwashed sheep
West Yorks Rover Posted February 18, 2017 Posted February 18, 2017 The Rao's might think we are still in the Premier League, especially when they see us playing Man U tomorrow.

Its over sadly It's far from over. We're only one win shy of Bristol City and Burton might lose their midweek game which would mean they're five points ahead having played two games more. I do agree if we stick with Coyle he'll take us down though. Probably with games to spare.
Backroom Tom Posted February 18, 2017 Backroom Posted February 18, 2017 Very true Rev but even a point behind would make us massive underdogs with Coyle New manager bounce may be enough to save us but I can't see him going.

A good battering tomorrow might do it, but I don't trust this lot to replace him with owt special, although I'd take just about anyone right now.
matt83 Posted February 18, 2017 Posted February 18, 2017 In the relegation zone with a useless unsacksble manager who seems unwilling to accept we are in a relegation battle. Its over I'm afraid.

But it has now been proven that he wasn't and isn't. Not only should Coyle be sacked but Cheston who employed him - and continues to back him - should be sacked as well. Incompetence at all levels and negligent owners. Paul Senior is merely an employee - presumably as sporting director (or whatever he is) reports to Cheston as well. After all, any other alternative scenarios are merely conspiracy theories...
blue kiwi Posted February 18, 2017 Posted February 18, 2017 both burtons goalscorers were signed in january

I bet he doesnt reports to Cheston but to Pasha. Next Friday game is a must win game. Bristol City and Forest are two teams we must get enough points to get above them. Birmingham shocking form continue. Proves Zola is a poor manager and shocking decision to get rid of Rowett

No need to go searching for any more complicated explanations.
