Blue blood Posted August 6, 2016 Posted August 6, 2016 Only positive is that Norwich are one of the better teams in the division. Still think we'll do very badly, but I'm sure some of the opposition won't be anywhere near as clinical as Norwich.

Backroom DE. Posted August 6, 2016 Backroom Posted August 6, 2016 Yes, some weeks we may only lose by one goal Only if Henley gets injured, or suspended.
ABBEY Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 I think top 10 for me. For me, the squad last season under performed. Still have done alot better than we did. The biggest bonus of the summer for me is Us signing Danny Graham. Also think Conway will be key player for Coyle as he wants to play with Wingers. TOP 10 LOL
Norbert Rassragr Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 A lot of people were expecting mid table, around 15th. I think a lot of us over estimated Coyle's abilities.
chaddyrovers Posted December 27, 2016 Author Posted December 27, 2016 Its almost like Ive got my little troll. Just cant leave me alone
ABBEY Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 haha thought you had me on ignore...cover blown
Stuart Posted December 28, 2016 Posted December 28, 2016 It's a much stronger league this season on account of the spending of other clubs and the teams that came down from the PL. We have dwelled too long and @#/? away our parachute money. Hate to say it but I think we'll finish second or third bottom. Really really hope I am proven wrong.
G Somerset Rover Posted December 28, 2016 Posted December 28, 2016 'Down by Easter'. That'll teach me to be so optimistic!
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted December 28, 2016 Posted December 28, 2016 Really really hope I am proven wrong. As soon they came up with the mystifying appointment of Coyle relegation was a forgone conclusion. I never back against Rovers but I should have done. Easy money.
tomphil Posted December 28, 2016 Posted December 28, 2016 Rarely bet and never against my own team but i was so dejected i took the odds on Skybet to go down and sadly also took a bet to finish rock bottom. I was utterly convinced it would be that bad and that was before they appointed this goon.

Rover_Shaun Posted December 28, 2016 Posted December 28, 2016 The answer to the original topic question is now twofold 22nd or 23rd
Stuart Posted December 28, 2016 Posted December 28, 2016 Let's not be hasty Shaun, Rotherham could yet rally and finish above us.
tomphil Posted December 28, 2016 Posted December 28, 2016 I'm on a fiver for Rovers to be relegated in consecutive seasons at 100/1 with Paddy Power. Your thinking like a Venky now .......
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 I'm on a fiver for Rovers to be relegated in consecutive seasons at 100/1 with Paddy Power. 100/1 ? That's really good odds. Makes you wonder how much the bookies really know.
J*B Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 100/1 ? That's really good odds. Makes you wonder how much the bookies really know. It was the day Coyle was sacked
1arC Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 Like some on here, I took the 5/1 on offer for us to be relegated, before the season started. I have also taken the 11/8 on Preston to best us, the amazing 11/5 for reading to beat us and the 11/8 for Barnsley to beat us. I haven't put much on any of the games and only £35 on the relegation. I am sorely tempted though to go 3 figures for the double of Huddersfield to beat us at 8/11 and Newcastle to beat us at 4/6. This would result in a £217 profit for a stake of £110 and looks nailed on. I take no pleasure in making any profit and hope if I do go big (for me) on this double, I lose it.

The only thing that is nailed on is that the bookies will at some stage come out with the biggest profit.

I sincerely hope that I lose the £35 I have on relegation and if I do go on the double of Huddersfield and Newcastle, I lose that too. I am happy to increase the bookmakers profits on things that go Rovers way.
USABlue Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 Next to bottom. 9 points off safety. Coyle spewing about rebuilding and bouncing back.
Stuart Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 Next to bottom. 9 points off safety.Really really really really really really depressing.Coyle spewing about rebuilding and bouncing back.Worse.
Salgado Is Still A Hero Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 I have us to go down at 10/3 but it's part of a treble with Burnley to go down as well. We go down, they stay up, I don't even win any money. Brilliant.
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 We'll finish were we are now, in the mire.
rigger Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 Next to bottom. 9 points off safety. Coyle spewing about rebuilding and bouncing back. Edited as I now understand, sorry for my stupid post
