How high we have fallen. Not too long ago we used to be worrying about holding on to Santa Cruz, Bentley, Nelsen and Samba...now we rooted to the bottom of the Championship, annoyed that Preston have bagged Baptiste.

Are we just signing players for the sake of signing players? Its like it doesnt matter which position you play, if you are free and available, we will take you. Utter rubbish

Three year deal AGAIN!!! For an injury prone 30 year old this time.

Anderson or equivalent blatantly has his/their feet firmly back under the table.

Mulgrew is knackered

how much did we pay for the crock?

We seem to collect mediocre injury prone midfielders. That'll be it for us. Nixon and Coyle will say we nearly signed X or Y, but that'll be utter rubbish. Next season will be worse as in the 2nd division we'll be like Coventry-Only able to afford short term contracts to journeymen whilst any decent youngster is either a loan or sold for a bag of chips to Swansea.

Some twonk on Twitter is telling me our problem has been the club only offering 1 year deals to players. He must have forgotten about Murphy, Best, Etuhu and co. Some people are beyond reasoning with.

Been this way for a good while now. Bowyer was allowed to sign c 35 players and to be fair signed four decent ones. Lambert signed seven, God knows how many more this window so over the last 3 years we must have haemorraged money signing in excess of 50 players yet we've barely a decent permanent contracted player left on the books.

Length of contract aside if Mulgrew can stay fit I think he will become a good player for us. Big *IF* though.

A 3 year deal is a risk we shouldn't really be taking. Nonsense.

Where does he play? Says LB/CB/midfield on wiki?

Wouldn't have thought he'd add much unless he is a decent ball winning midfielder.

Good signing(if he stays fit) for the midfield area. But can play other positions.

Maybe Coyle is going to play 3 at the back after the international break

Aren't we already playing three at the back with Lowe at RB?

Injury prone 30yr old on a 3yr contract, bet he's over the moon Charlie.

Absolute madness and complete desperation.

Yeah THAT'S the problem with Rovers at the moment.

I think Mulgrew is a centre back realy. Not that sure though. He's not played much the last couple of years but at least has some experience and know how which is way above most of our signings. No good if he's not on the pitch though of course.
