Young pacey striker didnt happen. Just like the right back.

I did post Nicko's tweet explained about it..

Brown 4th player

Given all these didn't happens and the amount of other Nixon predictions that haven't happened perhaps we could conclude he hasn't a clue and is making up stories? Just a thought...

Pleased with Emnes signing as we needed another option in attack. Of twelve new signings we have six on loan which rather tells us where the club is heading these days. The Premier League is quickly becoming a dim and distant memory and we have reverted to the club we once were forty-odd years ago. Just hope that Coyle can get enough from his new signings to keep us in the Championship. Now the window has closed the next few months are all about getting results on the pitch. It's crucial that we don't get cut adrift at the bottom.

Tell you what, Venkys could have taken one last stab at it.

Kept Lambert, given him a decent transfer kitty, give him what he needed to bring in quality. Get us promoted, and boom baby, you are back in the big time, and some nice extra promotion cash to take home.

So, why the hell are they still here, when they couldnt give a damn about promotion? The mind boggles with Venkys, because if you were serious about promotion, you would give the manager the backing he needs. This is just all bonkers, and i still believe that the Wolves game is far too long for that protest.

Simple answer being that the bank credit has run out now that the parachute money has ended.

Nothing to do with FFP.

Nothing to do with our gates, which we all know are low for non-footballing reasons.

Nothing to do with our size as a club.

Nothing to do with Newcastle or Aston Villa having more money than us.

They were prepared to keep things ticking over so long as their creditors coughed up the hard cash to do it. Now the parachute money has all gone there's nothing left as security, and Venkys have never had any intention, or possibly even the capability, to invest their own personal cash to bankroll the club.

99.9% of people would look at the situation logically, realise relegation is quite likely, realise they are never going to make a success of it, realise there are no assets left to sell, and get the hell out of this asap. Sadly I think these morons fall into the 0.01% who will keep hold of the club for a long time yet.

There's nowt left to sell, Venky's. The cupboards are @#/? bare. Get your goon The Spreadsheet to come to a figure you want and float it to serious investors that want to help this club prosper.

And take your verminous gobshite Coyle with you. I'll pack his socks.

Marshall in January. Corry Evans for £500k if, fingers crossed for them, he has a decent international run. Craig Conway for a bit if he carries on his good form. Danny Graham if he hits a purple patch this season and hits double figures.

A few more crumbs in the cupboard yet to sweep out before its completely bare. Expect fun and games over the coming months with anyone and everyone who plays quite well for Rovers being linked with moves away in the run up to January.

Emnes has done nothing in recent times. Crap window for what has sadly become a Crap Club with a Crap Manager and - worst of all - CRAP OWNERS

Maybe they have a contract with certain other parties(spivs and dodgepots) which hasn't run out yet, so their hands are tied.

So Guthrie is still here?

Both him and Marshall will be paraded like signings and some warped evidence that the owners have backed the manager.

"There was interest in our players but the owners showed their comittment to what we are trying to do here by blah blah blah"

Don't know how anyone can be pleased with a signing like Emnes... In fact I don't don't understand how anyone can be pleased with anything in our situation.

This!

That's what I'm thinking and that's why this club has such a turnover of players and lack of directors to stand up and say hey what's going on. Factor in there is always someone here who seems to be representing someone else's interests, Shaw was the last one now Coyle. Bowyer had the remit down to a tee but did it the right way and also used different agents so noses out of joint meant he bit the dust, nothing to do with results.

Also consider that Venkys have this huge debt so can't just walk away from that either so now they've just left it to the partners again.

But we ALL knew this would be the case hence why we mocked Nickos absurd 5 or 6 people in claims.

Nixon backed Keans appointment strenuously.

He backed Coyles appointment strenuosly

Nixon appears to be close to them both (Or their camp)

They appear to both have similar SEM connections.

You've finally cottoned on to Venkys at last. Ask yourself what Nixons agenda could be.

Genuine question: Are any of the rag tag assortment of incoming attached to SEM/Kentaro etc? I'd assumed none of them were as otherwise the m/b would have been in meltdown.

Either way it's not good enough. This window has followed exactly the same blueprint as the last one under Lambert. Generally poor older permanent signings combined with a raft of fairly random looking acquisitions on loan.

We are definitely NOT reverting to the club we used to be forty odd years ago.

Then we were still run by people who cared, there was still a Rovers spirit about the place and we believed that those who ran it, while certainly making mistakes, had the best interests of the club at heart. We knew the club had no money and that it wasn't their fault.

Yes, we look doomed to play in the lower divisions for some time to come, in front of small crowds.

Superficially therefore, we are back to the eighties, in truth we are light years away from being the loved, proud, community football club we were back then. I would exchange now for then in a heartbeat.
