And whilst I'm at it, if we are hanging around to sign this BA (dependent on shifting Marshall allegedly) yet we have money to sign the 'right player', does that mean he is not the 'right' player?  In which case, why are we trying to sign him?

Rhodes will be a good fit at Wednesday and will score lots of goals.

I don't think we've missed him overall we just missed a massive opportunity by not giving Lambert the funds. Genuinely think if that happened we would have been around the top 6 now.

A real crossroads and the clearest statement of intent from the owners there.

Nixon saying that Ba has done one because he wanted a perm move and now rovers only want a loan (shock). How has it come to this on the last day of the window?

This has played out exactly as a few of us predicted and was a smart move by Middlesbrough. He scored six goals to help get Middlesbrough promoted and they got their money back when they realised that he is a Championship footballer.

I can't stand this transfer policy of having loan left right and centre! Seriously if you sell Marshall for close to 2m re-invest part of that god dam cash. We could have snapped up Luke Freedman, Matty Taylor for under 1m just to name a few players and they would walk into our squad. Use the rest on Ambrose, and boom! Sign Paul Caddis on a free as well!

It all depends on what we were offering doesn't it? If we were offering a loan, and the player wanted a permanent deal, and hung around for two days hoping we'd change our mind that's his lookout I'd say.

Love the fact people are slagging Rhodes off whilst we resign a striker who has scored just 3 goals in 21 appearances for us this season.

I am left so shocked really, how can they keep spitting at us and wiping their feet on our faces. We need unity, we need one direction, I don't believe the protest group is run the right way, and i feel there is no leadership there. We need someone to grab the bull by the horns and give a sense of direction and gathering people together. Protest to protest means nothing they have shown that we need to be more creative and push further and harder than before. I mean yes they have a fortune but so do various of the Rovers fan base, and we have a network far greater than theirs if we put it to good work yet after 6 years we haven't. We need to be bold, strong, and defiant, while treating all various fan based groups with respect and tolerance to unite once and for all to send one clear message. VENKYS OUT!

Maybe they don't want to avoid the drop Windy.  I think some of the rumours that we where about to go into admin next week may have been not too wide of the mark, hence only loans etc.  However, everything has been thrown up into the air again thanks to Robbie Savage who drew us Man U in the cup.  Barry can now see a big pay day, so we are in limbo again as arse doesn't know what elbow wants and visa versa.
