Haven't caught up today but if it is just Joao and Emnes in (loans) and Marshall out (permanent) then I can't wait for the first person to come on here and say we've done good business this window. You just know it's gonna happen.

Could this be the worst transfer window ever?

Even by Venky's standard this is pretty shyte.

Sheff Weds bring in £10million Rhodes > We bring in a Sheff Weds reserve Joao

Brighton bring in £5million Dufdy > We bring in Brightons regular OAP Greer

Newcastle bring in £5million Grant Hanley and use him as a sub > We bring in Sunderlands regular OAP Wes Brown

Hoping that us looking at just loan deals is biggest sign that a Venky's exit is near. Everything been done on short term basis.

Or preparing for a league 1 wage bill... I'd say that's more likely.

I'm stunned anyone actually gives a toss to be honest, but clearly they do looking at the number of posts.

Yes.

Some donkey drop reject from Wednesday and a player who has already contributed to us being in what will be our final league position of 23rd

Woopie bloody doo

I can't stand this transfer policy of having loan left right and centre! Seriously if you sell Marshall for close to 2m re-invest part of that god dam cash. We could have snapped up Luke Freedman, Matty Taylor for under 1m just to name a few players and they would walk into our squad. Use the rest on Ambrose, and boom! Sign Paul Caddis on a free as well!

Marshall's fee will be nothing like £2million.  Wolves had us over a barrel.

The only save and grace is if we go down Venky's won't want to hang around and we will be sold off in a heartbeat. With our academy and responsible owners, we will be back in the Championship pretty quickly.

Hope so, but bet you could get tempting odds on us being in the National League by 2019, would pay for a few parties to try and impress Paris Hilton and get a sniff of her little pooch

I think we are 'unsellable'.

I think there's a very high chance Coyle will be binned after either tomorrow or Saturday should we fail to win at least one of those matches.  Would wager money that Senior has a replacement lined up.

Why do you think that and have you actually placed money on it?

From Nixon

Ben Marshall on way to Wolves. Hope the M6 isn't busy.

From Rich Sharpe Lt guy

Ben Marshall update: https://t.co/08kJ0DNxGl #Rovers

I think I'm right in saying : Marshall is the last player of flair and ability that we had left.

All the best to him. Who could blame him for wanting out.

If Venky's are only making loan signings because they want out, why would they bother binning Coyle, when he would require a pay-off?

If Coyle is going to get binned, it must mean he's not performing the way he should. God knows I'm no fan of him, but what level of performance are they expecting?

I'm not buying it. I think we're being run-down either to squeeze as much dough as possible out before admin so they can offset their losses, or we're going to be allowed to wither and die.

They clearly aren't concerned with results.

Yep, last one with a hint of quality. Played well until this season when he realised it wasn't worth pulling his tripe out any more.

A loss.

I think this window shows that Coyle is not the one calling the shots.

It's been speculated that Coyle was the 'cheap option' who undercut the 'market' to land the job - perhaps a desperado.  May well be the termination clause in his contract is not too onerous either.

If there was a 'market' for Coyle being the next Championship manager to be sacked then yes I would place money on it.
