I think this window shows that Coyle is not the one calling the shots.

It's been speculated that Coyle was the 'cheap option' who undercut the 'market' to land the job - perhaps a desperado.  May well be the termination clause in his contract is not too onerous either.

If there was a 'market' for Coyle being the next Championship manager to be sacked then yes I would place money on it.

It's easy - just ask any bookmaker. Coyle's never called any shots - he's a cheap hired hand. Personally I think he's going nowhere, and your post is just attention seeking. .

If Venky's are only making loan signings because they want out, why would they bother binning Coyle, when he would require a pay-off?

If Coyle is going to get binned, it must mean he's not performing the way he should. God knows I'm no fan of him, but what level of performance are they expecting?

I'm not buying it. I think we're being run-down either to squeeze as much dough as possible out before admin so they can offset their losses, or we're going to be allowed to wither and die.

They clearly aren't concerned with results.

Because they want to stay up? A Championship club is more attractive than a League 1 club to potential buyers...

As a saleable asset, whether we're in the Championship or League 1, with debts of £120m... I can't really seeing that figuring in their thinking.

They clearly have no interest in the club. I'm sure they're either trying to figure out a way to dispose of us without it haunting them (admin? liquidation?). Either that or they're just going to run us into the ground out of pure spite or because it's easier than burying the bodies with insolvency.

Even Bill Gates would blink at buying us. we're an absolute basket case. We're pissing money like a colander, and income has dropped off of a cliff. We've been ruined, it's like a scorched earth policy.

If Venkys leave take the scum with them, will we be losing so much money each month...? They are draining money out of us.

we have no players on big money, well we have no players of any value.

They are losing their money either way. If they can get someone to take on a fraction of the debt, that would be better than putting us into administration and not getting any of their money back wouldn't it?

Well, yes, they're never going to get their money back, not 99% of it, anyway.

There may well be skeletons in the closet that would be buried forever if we were liquidated. They may be doing it out of spite. They may be doing it out of negligence.

I'm just trying to see it from their point of view, judging them by their behaviour. If they wanted us to stay up, why not spend a bit of money (which would be paid back if they sold us?)

Thinking that they'll bin Coyle to ensure we stay up so that they can sell us, given that some basketball player from FC le Doss just knocked us back because we decided not to pay for him... it would be a decision wildly inconsistent with their behaviour of late.

I don't understand what the advantage would be for them if they put us in admin seen as the money we owe is owed to them?

I understand what you're saying but maybe Senior thinks that it is the manager that's the problem and not the players? That's what I got from his cringey interview anyway.

So it looks like Venkys resolve has finally broken and they've accepted a bid for Marshall.

Lets be honest, who didn't see that one coming and seriously thought they'd keep him?

This has been orchestrated to perfection from the word go. Their additions of Joao and Emnes on what will be relative peanuts aimed at pacifying some supporters when together they will be on half of Marshall's weekly wage.

It appears Ba has been hovering for quite some time under the impression he was getting a permanent deal. If Nixon is to be believed then the goalposts have moved on the basis Rovers only want a loan deal.

It seems the new masterplan is to build a squad around a few free agents and loans = suicide.

I was reading the Club's annual accounts today which arrived in the post. No longer the glossy professional brochure of years gone by but tatty paper stapled together. In it Cheston continually refers to FFP rules as a problem the club has to deal with bla bla bla. Excuses excuses.

Isn't it amazing. Wolves have signed the Portuguese lad for £13 million this week. Sheffield Wednesday getting Rhodes for £10 million. How come they aren't hamstrung by FFP? They don't have parachute money, they haven't brought in £30 million in sales and 10,000 extra fans certainly doesn't cover £13 million.

Oh yeah, they've got owners with ambition and cash who really want to get promoted instead of stringing people along and lying about their ambitions whilst trousering the money and allowing cheap loans only.

Our squad come the summer will be beyond a joke. We'll be down to under ten senior players (incl. GKs) on the books, surely?

Straight through League One and into League Two with less than 10 senior players and a refusal to spend any money or even sign permanent transfers.

Depends who counts as the main creditor, Venkys issued share capital to cover debt, nothing paid off yet.

No charges or debentures from SBOI but they hold the right to do so at any time. Given the serious asset sales to date it suggests the lending terms won't be increased.

if your smart you leave one basket with the eggs in and move the chicken over in that case given you'd swap the bad for good leaving all the creditors behind.

They're difficult to predict and after 6 years of this ****, there's an element of false hope to this but I'm hoping we're heading for admin (if we can survive it).

I have no idea why they appointed Senior, but I'm past caring.

The last 6 years have been the absolute limit.

we ard second bottom arent we...

Emnes out Emnes in

Samuleson out Joao in

A few kids out Senior in

Basically no transfer money

just working within a set budget on wages

If Marshall doesnt go he will sulk and not play

If Marshall goes we wont have time to replace

That means our squad to get us out the crap is the same or worse.

League 1 here we come

Coyle safe as houses

Pasha Out !

That is a fair assessment of Blackburn Rovers 2017.

One of my pals is a 'bookie' and he wont offer odds.  Think about that one.

To me it looks like the last 4 years - a vacuum between the owners and Ewood, infested by anyone who can get in their "circle".

One of the famous BRFCS put downs is "head in sand"- I think this is now the best way to describe the owners thoughts on our plight.
