You think what you like Jim.

One of my pals is a 'bookie' and he wont offer odds.  Think about that one.

When Senior said "we have a talented squad" and called Owen the "head coach", that was the time I felt he was on his last legs.

Senior doing the transfers also means that we aren't going to see a proper "manager"... which was extremely unlikely before!

It definitely looks like they're getting ready to leave but who knows with these lot.

I'd like to think so but then I think why employ Senior if they are going?  It's not as if we have anything to sell and Marshall was going anyway in the summer so £500,000 was always likely to be the most they could get for him.

The strangest part is that these owners should know better than most by now the rewards of investing in the right sort of players. Yes they were horrifically done over on the deals under Kean and Shebby, but since then they've seen the good side of sensible transfer dealing and shrewd investments in decent prospects. They're £40 million or so better off because of it.

If they aren't planning on going anywhere, which I still believe to be the case as all the language and promises in the accounts remains consistent, then why not at least carry on with what Bowyer was doing? Not throwing £10 million a window at it, but at least allow a couple of million from sales back in to the pot in the hope that more Cairneys/Gestedes or Duffys crop up and they can trouser more cash from it.

This process they're on now suggests they don't even want to do that, and are reluctant to even sanction any permanent deals, instead allowing short term heavily subsidised loans only. They must know that once the talent has all been sold, which is about now or will be by the summer, there isn't going to be any remaining cash value in the playing staff to sell off.

So what happened to these Prem clubs with an interest in good old J-Lo? That lad will be leading us out in the Conference mark my words.

Doubt it. Even his salary will be too much when it comes to contract renewals.

Who were Coyles's "3 targets" he kept banging on about?

Ba - not happening

Barnes - doesn't look like it got off the ground

who was the 3rd? Cavare

Doesnt look like he's been backed by Senior in those targets.

I think you are right that Senior didn't want these players.

Venkys just want loan players

Another CB, another loan, another Celtic player and this one is shockingly bad. Why? We buy Brown and loan Ambrose while Wharton is shipped out. Good to see Coyle sticking to his mantra of youth development. It's almost as if we're trying to go down you know....
