so a week after the window closed  deluded people still chatting about transfers. ridiculous. wake up.

Ambrose must have fallen through

maybe the club is under investigation by immigration so no work permits can be issued

maybe Senior lied

maybe the facebook fan was BS

Ive still got my boots and shin pads in the loft if you want to discuss me signing for the next week.

It's seems Rovers will only sign players from a certain set of agencies so we don't get what we need we get whatever they have on their books or can get off their mates. No wonder no manager can actually build a team despite the turnover of players and influx of cash.

Waste of space this approach.

At the risk of sounding somewhat positive. The three guys we are looking at will all add to the team.

Experienced Right Back, a centre half who is good in the air and a creative midfielder. We have been crying out for all three.

Caddis is an interesting one, I think Nyambe is improving with each passing game, so not sure if Caddis would just stroll into the starting 11.

In terms of age, experience and reputation then Caddis ought to be the sort of player we should be looking at. Knows this league inside out, has played regularly in a Birmingham side that was tight at the back under Rowett, also chipped in with a few goals.

Trouble is his fitness. He's barely played this season and it is unusual for a club to terminate a players contract mid-season without good reason. How long is it going to take him to get match fit? Considering we've only got 18 games to go how many of those is he going to be able to contribute in?

Yes we need an out and out right back. That has been the case now for about 5 years with Marshall and Lowe filling in and Henley not good enough. Only now have they decided to give Ryan Nyambe a run in the team and he appears to be getting up to speed with the demands of the Championship.

As for the Argentinian, none of us know anything about him and I'm very doubtful that Coyle knows much about him. If Coyle has ever heard of the lad before I'll eat my hat. It shows all the signs of another agent job with him wanting a move to Europe and the people at Rovers wanting to assist. For more information read the Mauro Formica story from start to finish and the parallels are clear. I won't judge his footballing ability until I've seen him play, but again you would expect him to take time to adjust and get up to speed for a Championship relegation scrap with only 18 games to go and no time to waste.

Infact all 3 rumoured signings have barely played in the last 6 months. Not the hit-the-ground-running sort needed at this point.

In other news, Barrow have just released Myles Anderson, after he started only one in their FA Cup replay against Taunton. He has joined Torquay United, which is a surprise, as I thought he was premier league class, according to his agent!

Give it a few more years and we'll be just about at his level...

Brown should be on pay for play he's 36 ? He's only topping up his pension

Isn't he also a coach, though? He'll surely be getting a basic salary for that, regardless of whether he's on PAYP or not.

Coyle has taken today's press conference to moan about not signing a full back from Rennes, a full back from Watford, Ba and of course Giles Barnes. I do get the feeling as long as Coyle and Senior are in the building they will just spend their time pointing fault at each other!!

Sounds like the usual stuff where we had potential new signings lined up, but no green light came from India. I said that this would be the case on the official message board and people took me to task over it. It is always going to be the same with the current owners. Lambert alluded to the silence just before he left. I would say we are a joke between managers these days.

He moans about how he did such fantastic work to set up deals that then fell through because he didn't get authorisation. Yet appears to conveniently stop short of criticising either Venkys or the newly installed Football Director.

So on the one hand we've got Coyle claiming that he has been lining up players to bring in which we then missed out on because he didn't get the go-ahead to do them. On the other hand we've got a newly appointed Football Director talking about having his own lists of players and 'adding value' to the squad blah blah blah.

Where does Coyle get the green light from? India? Pasha? Senior? Does anyone know who is in charge.

Coyle reckons no-one was more disappointed at the end of the window than him and his staff. Yet the other recently appointed bloke was only last week saying how he was satisfied with the window, how we'd done some good business, added to the squad.

Left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Different agendas with different people. What a mess.

In the middle of this we've got Blackburn Rovers facing a disastrous and humiliating demotion to the 3rd division.

In fairness to Coyle, at the current point in time, coming out and criticizing the owners or senior directly would not do the club any good. It wouldn't do his employment situation any good either I suppose.  The connotation in what he said there is that it is more of the same from the owners. It is the head lady who has final say on these matters. A middle aged woman who knows nothing about football. It is like your Mother running a football club, only worse, she is doing it from India. It would be comical if it was another club.

They kept on telling us money is no issue, yet Coyle is coming out with all these excuses. The one about having to pay Giles Barnes salary. Jeezuz how much is Barnes on, for us to say no. Either way it's a good thing, as he is nothing special. But we can see as we all predicted, how much bullshitting Venkys, Coyle and Senior are doing. We all knew they would delay and delay, and eventually just come out with these excuses about how they tried.

Much as I dislike clueless and his choice of player to get us out of this hole is laughable IF he did come out and slate our owners I reckon fans would be a lot more positive towards him. As it is he pretends all is fine yet uses the excuses of our mess all the time like some arse licking snivelling weasel.

A pair of balls and telling it how it actually is would probably do more to unite the fanbase behind him. Wouldn't stop him being useless but fans would be less peeved with him. Not that it would happen.
