I know he has been offered to rovers , but his wages would eat up 3 or 4 players potential earnings, whilst he is seen as a 20 game season man, with much of that from the bench.

I'd be pretty confident that one won't happen.

Look at Kamy posts on twitter. Also randomers as you call them might have good sources and be right..

443 pages, three signings, lots of menial nonsense.

Believe it or not, Venkys are quite an important factor in any incoming transfers..

The chap who has said stokes is going hibs, his brother works at Ewood, and usually what he says is pretty reliable.

The Lambert one has come from a couple of Journos and seems to have some legs.

i don't see him as a replacement for Graham, he has attributes that Graham doesn't have, he is a set piece specialist and is a target man, Graham isn't either, if we did sign him along with the other chap we have a bid in for, John akinde, young player with pace and goals, I think those three would really compliment each other.

Well at least have the decency to say who said it and who they are.

Oh yeah, heard that we are close to signing Neymar for a club record fee on a 4 year contract, depending on if Stokes agrees a loan deal with Napoli.

Re: Lambert, another 'cautious optimism' signing. I think he's much more of a specific targetman, while Graham is more your all-round striker who's decent at all aspects of beinga striker (apart from restricting dietary portions, no doubt assisted by Dunn).

Unlike Lambert, ironically.

There'd be more movement in a constipated sloth than him and Graham up front. Potentially lots of goals though, if we had the right players to tee them up.

The lambert signing worries me slightly. He must be on big money still ( guess  15-20k per week ) Can we really afford to spend that on a player who is 35 and cannot play upfront with graham ( surely they are too slow to play together )

 

personally I think we already have graham so don't need another experienced forward. I'd rather us go for someone young and hungry from the lower league on a lower salary with more to prove and more resale value. However I've been happy with mowbrays signings so far so will always back big Tony ! Surely the end of stokes tho if we get lambert

I would like Lambert, as I've previously stated physicality rather than movement gets goals in lower league football. Wages would be a sticking point. Does he want to play on a reduced salary, or sit on the bench of a championship club?
