We haven't got a specialised right back, we really need one. If Lowe and Marshall are our options we're done. Can we fill a match day squad without using the youth yet? Or are we pretending they are good enough now?

The likes of Scott Wharton and Jack Doyle are certainly good enough to be on the bench at the very least.

Would like to see Nyambe given a run out at right back. Time to make or break a few of the kids as it looks like we won't be strengthening.

I really don't see how we have any other choice. Henley has had a few chances and not impressed, Lowe isn't a right back and I hope Marshall gets moved further forward (maybe not in the No. 10 role)

If they won't spend any money, the youth squad is all we have. Most likely won't end well but options are looking bleak.

And you'd think if the 'strategy' of the absent ones was to keep costs low and look to make money on value added players, promoting youngsters who have shown some promise would be the logical approach... but then again, this is Wenky Vorld...

Nyambe is young but if there is a real talent in him should he take the starting place very soon.

We need to bolster this squad urgently. Hanley was by far our best player last season and without him we could

have quite easily have been in big trouble. If Graham gets injured on Saturday......then what? The Venkys really have

to man up and back the man they have put in charge.

I'd take your point on this if the guy had moved to Preston or Forest but the fact that he went to Oxford pretty much invalidates your point. He's obviously crap.

We are one season away from them passing us by, they are on an upward trajectory.

Still wouldn't have touched the striker mind.

Thought it would be a busy night. Can we expect Coyle's resignation next? Must be one frustrated manager as the Venky's way of directing club is becoming familiar.

Bamford and Traore are standard of names we desperately need.

Brighton must be furious as Norwich snap Pritchard under their nose. Him, Naismith and Brady should be names enough for promotion.

Brady will be going Leicester I've heard

Wouldnt surprise me

Or Emnes from Swansea

Emnes is a decent championship striker but Swansea only have a couple of strikers and Ayew looks like leaving.

Emnes? That useless lump who used to play for Middlesbrough? No thanks.

Oxford are a proper football club with a proper manager by the name of.................Appleton!!

Rotherham spend 500k on Jon Taylor from P'boro. I rate him really highly, small skilful winger who scores goals. Would have loved him here instead of Feeney, Rotherham paying fees for players and we aren't! We are F***ed

I think that's why Coyle is here because they want someone who'll work without backing. Lambert wanted it, Bowyer would have wanted the same backing he had pre embargo. That's why neither are here now and I'd say the only reason Coyle is.

There was someone on here saying he'd heard they wanted 6 youth promoting this season. Well they are between them creating the situation this will have to happen. The spinmiester will know the score.
