It won't be Nugent or anyone of that calibre. It will most likely be an up and coming striker from a premier league side's youth team. I would guess Sam Gallagher.

Think you might be right there with Sam Gallagher.

I would look at Akpom tbf

Nugent would be out of our reach for sure, probably half a dozen clubs or so would get him over us.

I don't know, it's his ex-boss. A lot of Rovers fans, probably most, detest Coyle but he's obviously respected within the game ex-employers aside.

You always speak a lot of sense Booth, agree with a lot you say. But Coyle has added nothing so far in terms of signings.

We are not seeing these Coyle 'gems'

Thanks SD. I don't think attracting players is a problem of Coyles. It's his ability to get them winning football matches that's the issue. I think his enthusiasm and BS only works so much before the honeymoon period dissipates. So with a manager like Coyle if you don't get instant success like he had a Burnley, things can go stale quickly.

But back to signings, as Gavlar above said I don't think it's easy for anyone to sign players when you have to run it all by a ridiculously fragmented committee in India. It says it all that Marshall and Duffy are still waiting for a contract.

This is what I am saying. One of his qualities is attracting players, we haven't seen this yet.

Never done it before in my life , but Norwich at 5/4 is printing money.

Seasons not even started and he's already getting his excuses in for having an awful squad.

"I would hope that at the start of next week we could have real positive dialogue with respect of trying to put something to them that the boys feel good about."

That's not exactly conformation that they'll be offered new deals then.
