Why can't we, the Rovers supporters, take over Ewood Park and Brockhall? Just like squatters do with property that is not being utilised properly.

Venkys/Raos are bad owners allowing the club and facilities to become obsolescent. We demand squatters' rights.

It may not be quite that black and white. The quoted Venky's company is but one part of their business empire. It's the only part with external shareholders, which is why the accounts are public, and, as their entire group of businesses is quite vertically integrated, it would not be too difficult (and entirely in their interests) to keep the profits declared by Venky's Ltd to a minimum.

No they are not, the table posted is for the Venky group of companies, they don't even feature in the Forbes of India rich list

We keep hearing about their personal wealth and income and they do have fingers in many pies so no doubt they are very wealthy but no way are they anywhere near Abramovich type stuff. Their core business raises chickens and has low profit margins that relies on quantity. The Ruski pumps black gold and gas dollars out of the ground an I'd wager he makes more per day than they make in a year.

In real terms I'd say they are no wealthier than the Walkers were.

I would be 100% down for a 'legal' protest which may or may not include claiming some sort of right to stay in the centre circle of Ewood Park. A properly planned protest, of course. However you could count on me for unwavering support.

It was actually an idea that came to me during my many moments spent pondering what could possibly be done to oust the club. I daydreamed of hundreds of fans on the pitch in tents, with locals chipping in bringing us supplies to seriously undermine the 'the fans don't want this' argument. Then I had to wipe my arse and flush the toilet and reality sunk in - they won't care.

Not to say I won't try though.
