I hope one day when these criminals have left OUR Club we can have a wall of honour for the brave and hard working people who have done such sterling work to get rid of them.

Flags for the future with Salgado and Jansen would be good.

Get your arse into gear Telegraph!!!

We should bombard every story on their site that has the comments box underneath.

I'd say "Board letter to Desai" and "Legal letter" is a good start. "Off record....." is also pretty juicy.

Thank you, don'the drink so knock yourself out. Been away from media so catching up. Been over 3 hours reading today so trying get to save a little time, thanks.

Email to the MP for Blackburn. Still no response from the LT editor so I will go again.

Dear Ms Hollern,

I am sure by now you are very aware of the growing concerns of the fanbase of Blackburn Rovers FC as to the nature of the ownership of this grand old club, and of dealings between the owners and a third party sports agency which at this stage whilst not necessarily being proven to be criminal in activity, are at least of great concern. Details of funds being misappropriated, questionable contracts being awarded and excessive payments to agents are all contributing to building a story which has been six years in the making and even extends to alleged threats of violence to fans who have questioned the motives of club officials.

I am sure you will agree that the football club is the town's greatest asset. It puts Blackburn onto the global map and brings jobs and outside money into the town, as well as providing (once upon a time) a focus of pride and inspiration to the community. Sadly now the opposite is true.

My fear and regret is that without change then the only inevitable outcome to this current regime of mismanagement is that the Club will go bust. Already it may be inevitable and sadly might be the only answer out of this mess.

An old building can rightly be given listed status and protection. The Government will provide support or at least guidance when a steel plant is threatened with closure. Surely a football club which underpins a town of 100,000 plus, provides a way of life for upto 25% of that population and that has helped define our national sport across three centuries is worthy of similar protection from outsiders who are at least guilty of greed and ignorance, and at worst are engaging in criminal behaviour?

Nothing yet can be proven but with your support the profile of this case can be raised and answers sought once and for all. I believe this matter is of enough significant importance to your constituency for it to be raised in Parliament.

Much of the information relating to this case has been building for years and recent documentation has come to light which you may already have access to. If not I can share it with you. At this stage nothing can be 'proven' but clearly something is rotten at Blackburn Rovers and the implications and negative effects extend far beyond the mood of the fans on a Saturday afternoon.

I look forward to your reply.

Regards,

Just read the letter from Brabner's (if that is what they're called) on behalf of Venkys to Kentaro. WOW! WOW! WOW!

There it finally is, in black and flippin' white. The fat controller told them to sack Williams, Allardyce, Finn et al!

The big, heaving, stinking, lying, stomach wrenching, pile of maggot infested horse siht!

I know it was obvious that this was always the case, but to see Venkys representatives so plainly recognise the negative impacts of these Kentaro instructions really is an eye opener. I remember that fat @#/? going on live TV and claiming that he had actually advised them not to dispense with Allardyce. Liar, liar, liar!

The chubby red-top guesser is one of them btw. I've been a close reader of this board for years. DO NOT FORGET the way he worked as their agent on this board, calling out people who questioned the new regime as "conspiracy theorists".

I also enjoyed the Shebby emails. I never hated him. I know he was an embarrassment, but we should also remember the powerful enemies he had whilst he was waging war on Kean. If it wasn't for those damn useless Portuguese kids he blew our cash on ... ... ...

Anyway, the turd of Brunei, his behemothic friends and illegal gambling??? I am now open minded to theories I was previously sceptical of. Anyone found anything?

As for Crescendo and Owen Coyle? Are they definitely from the same stable? Are the links confirmed? If so, then perhaps I was previously wrong to imply Coyle was merely a poor manager rather than a nefarious one. If results don't improve and Coyle isn't sacked then there is definitely something going on here ... ... ...

... ... ... ...

It is not Paul's decision to write about this. I am sure he wants to do something but this will involve the legals and ultimately it will be Newsquest who will decide if the LT can cover this or not.

I think Paul does want to do a story but whether his bosses will allow it I'm unsure of it and what their lawyers will say and allowed is another problem

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/manchester-united/8212027/Sir-Alex-Ferguson-warns-rise-of-the-agents-represents-a-serious-threat-to-footballs-future.html

"You’ve got that issue at Blackburn of an agent involved and deciding the future of the club, Jerome Anderson [of the SEM Group], he couldn’t pick his nose.

"It’s baffling and it’s a serious threat to how clubs get run and how they conduct themselves.”

Andy Cole - published 24th December 2010

Everyone, including Sam, is stunned. I'm not, because a trusted little bird told me two months ago what was going to happen.

He said that the club would be taken over by an Indian company and that Sam would be pushed aside, to be replaced by the coach Steve Kean. If Keano does well then he keeps the job.

http://www.thenational.ae/thenationalconversation/sport-comment/steve-kean-can-do-job-at-blackburn

wonder who told him?

We know Andy Cole was correct and that there are several people who know a whole lot more about what happened in the 12 months before Rovers were sold.

There is even a TV station which found material (never aired) which raised questions over who the money came from to buy Rovers.

Oh, and Sam was far too savvy- privately he was not caught by surprise by what happened.

It was JW, the Trust and the FA fit and proper team who bought a complete pup but in very trying and in hindsight utterly misleading circumstances.

which TV Station is this?

I wonder why John Williams and the trust bought a complete pup?

is chaddy still on the transfer topic ha ha

I'm just trying to catch up with today's events and what has been posted. just said 19 pages of this thread in the past 40 mins

.....and me. Any suggestions chaps and lasses?

I have an idea who I think it is. but wont say publicly who it is or through PM

Any response from ex players yet?

Can you say what roles these ex employees had at the club? could Karen Silk be one?

The Trust were desperate to sell, simple as that. A few of them may be sweating over what's going on now, though... who knows.

I can't imagine JW had a huge deal of input. Could be wrong, but I think he probably saw the writing on the wall with this lot but was powerless to do anything if the Trustees wanted to sell.

I wonder who the whistle-blowers are?

Take your pick from Karen Silk, Greg Coar, Paul Hunt, Michael Appleton, Lyndsey Talbot, Paul Lambert, Gary Bowyer...

Or how about the now infamous Gandhu-Baboo?

Or is that shy old Bobby Coar coming through on the inside?

The trust were under immense pressure from certain vociferous beneficiaries.

As I've said many many times in my opinion you sell to potential buyers that past the fit and proper person test, end of liability.

Its down to the FA to introduce a more stringent policy when allowing people to buy football clubs, in reality they just don't give a t0ss.

Colin Murray said today that the fit and proper person test should be conducted every 12 months after purchase of a football club

Great idea :tu:

As with Chaddy. No where near fair to speculate. If they come forward then be obliged to suggest/talk about.

Until then please remain quiet, we have people potentially putting there own Bollo### on the line here for the club and you fans.

Least you can do is sit tight and await and not invite forms of pressure to anyone concerned.

There is more chance of Onion Balaji streaking around Ewood than Coar speaking out. And the way he was looked after by Jack Walker.

Another one of our own is RC.

There's been one primed and ready for a good while I think. Just waiting for the house of cards to start coming down, hopefully they'll step up now.

Do the FA, PL or FL even have power to stop a takeover happening?

can anyone think of one they have stopped cos I cant

Tom Finn or John Newsham perhaps. There is more chance of Onion Balaji streaking around Ewood than Coar speaking out. And the way he was looked after by Jack Walker.

Wasn't Jack Walker son in law on the board when Venkys bought the club?

wouldn't what his views are at this time

That guy shouldn't get out of this unscathed either, possibly another judas on a level with the programme seller. We should be demanding his removal from the position Jack plonked him in. I'm sure he'd be on the receiving end of a lightning bolt from our former great leader if he was able to send them !

Hey Gav,

not sure what to say. I was just answering in norwegian to a fellow norwegian. If that's what you're commenting?

My disrespect towards Apple are everlasting.

I don't always get your dry english wit. Compare me to the guy from Barcelona.

Under normal circumstances Gav, sure. But I think we were entitled to expect better from the Trust than to sell to the first people who were able to stump up the cash. Even back then it was well known the fit and proper person's test wasn't worth the paper it was written on.

Nonetheless, it's too late now and what's done is done. Venky's are the target, I have no desire right now to think about the Walker Trust.
