It's the same with most 'stars' after their retirement. I remembered him instantly when seeing the News - yet otherwise I would never have given him a second thought for the rest of my days.

Didn't he get goal of the season one year? I can certainly remember him running what seemed like the full length of the pitch and the slotting it in coolly.

Speaking as an electrician I don't like the idea of the taser.

Showed his goal on the news earlier. He ran from near halfway, danced round a couple of challenges and then chipped the keeper (Hans Segers?) from the edge of the area. Sublime. Think it was goal of the season.

I wonder if the nascent Balck Lives Matter UK will get involved.

Absolutely tragic.

Recall him from my childhood being a goal machine for Sheffield Wednesday in the late 80s.

At a time when the mere mention of a footballers name on the radio was distinctively fascinating.
