This was an idea of Glen Mullans which i thought was brilliant.

A petition that is doing the rounds has nearly 4,000 signatures on it. If every one of those people gave £2 (originally £1 but Just Giving has a minimum of £2) we could raise a hell of a lot of money for a charity whilst raising awareness locally and hopefully nationally as this is something completely different.

The charity I have chosen is East Lancashire Hospice.

I need a paragraph for the following question... what is your story? Please could somebody write a quick statement up for me and then I can publish it and we can start sharing the link?

As founder members of the football league and of the premier league our club, the supporter club Blackburn rovers has had the heart and soul removed by mismanagement on a level rarely seen before. From a club punching above its weight in the premier league we have been reduced to a relegation fighting championship club. All this under the watch of the hopeless owners Venkys. We the supporters of the club ask for nothing less than to be released from the terrible chains of perpetual misery of venkys ownership.

Not sure if this is what you want but it may give other people ideas.

Ok. Paul Wheelock wants to put a few words from myself on the LET website, again, I'm not great putting stories into words. Please could somebody help out, this is our chance for the LET to finally report on this.

It is easy to criticise Paul Wheelock.

His hands will be tied by the lawyers, I know how the system works.

We need to be able to supply him with more stories like this at the present stage. It shows Rovers fans care and we are doing something about it rather than being merely keyboard warriors. These sadly are probably the only stories he can cover until one of the 'Nationals' break the bigger story.

I am not on here to defend him but I thought his report on the Wigan game was spot on and did not pull any punches about the team and about fan disquiet.

In short give the guy a bit of slack and let's be tactical with what we can give him that he is able to report.
