Hasta Posted August 25, 2016 Posted August 25, 2016 Chaplow (allegedly) labelled someone in a category using a slang word as an insult. Gray said multiple times that he hoped all people in that category die and burn. Two different ends of the spectrum here.
Amo Posted August 25, 2016 Posted August 25, 2016 Did you read the piece? Sound more like he called his opponent a soft @#/? or suchlike. What Gray posted was utterly stupid but let's not get over-sensitive about these things generally. Just as an aside, hypothetically, if it'd been a League One encounter between two heterosexual players and he'd said "get up ya puff" after he went down in a heap, would that be forgiven as football banter or would it be a homophobic slur? Or does it depend on the sexuality and sensitivity of the recipient? Genuine question for anyone really. "LGBT community" is the one that gets me. What a ridiculous term.
47er Posted August 25, 2016 Posted August 25, 2016 Agreed. Now you've clarified your position, we are agreeing anyway. And Gray is still a muppet. His views were pretty explicit. I'll do a Sir Humphrey here, "I'm pleased you think so"!
mhead Posted August 26, 2016 Posted August 26, 2016 Dyke then would be a good name for the Burnley Manager then (rather than Douche) But River Kok cannot be used in same sentence?
Gav Posted August 26, 2016 Author Posted August 26, 2016 Only £30 for the dingles to get into The Bridge tomorrow apparently, but the pies are £20 a go. Come on Chelsea

perthblue02 Posted August 26, 2016 Posted August 26, 2016 "LGBT community" is the one that gets me. What a ridiculous term. Let's Grab Balaji's T** "?
darrenrover Posted August 26, 2016 Posted August 26, 2016 I'm pissing my sides at Burnley, not! I'd even accept 12 fingers if We were where they are now. Venky twhohats!
onlyonejackwalker Posted August 26, 2016 Posted August 26, 2016 I'm pissing my sides at Burnley, not! I'd even accept 12 fingers if We were where they are now. Venky twhohats! Terrible image above. Our illustrious owner. We should be playing Burnley this season. A failure of gigantic negligent business proprtions to lose all this new PL money when the hard work had been done and we were well established.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted August 26, 2016 Posted August 26, 2016 Could not give a flying fook about Burnley as I watch our beloved club crash and burn. The picture says it all...playboys and charlatans, absolute tossers!
blueboy3333 Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 https://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/aug/27/andre-gray-fa-charge-i-hate-lightys Gray wasn't very nice 2 years ago either.
Waggy76 Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 I think this thread will be our only source of salvation , this season ... Problem is they will still be a division in front of us along with the Prem parachute money ! Unhappy days !!
blueboy3333 Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 https://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/aug/27/andre-grey-tweeting-burnley-homophobia-sexism-race “Fumin,” he (Grey) writes. “Stuck in traffic cause some sad weak fool decided to get themselves run over on the motorway. #NoSympathy.” Lovely stuff.
Gav Posted August 28, 2016 Author Posted August 28, 2016 Social media and thick illiterate scrotes should never mix. (Don't anyone say it ) Good effort Chelsea, what price that lot not winning an away game all season?
perthblue02 Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Relegated with 150 mill in the bank and a decent shot at promotion from the Championship next season, I'd take that
alcd Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 If they lost every match 0-10 to the end of this season they would still finish in a vastly superior situation both playing-wise and financially.
Gav Posted August 28, 2016 Author Posted August 28, 2016 Why don't you start a burnley appreciation thread? Still some season tickets available if you fancy it? What the hell has happened to our support?
Jock Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 Why don't you start a burnley appreciation thread? Still some season tickets available if you fancy it? What the hell has happened to our support? Hopefully some criminals will buy them and the asset stripping can start. Its just getting it past the FA. Robert Coar would never allow it though. He'd kick up a right fuss

philipl Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Dingles have at least a 50% chance of staying up. The litmus test will be their head to heads with other teams in trouble and avoiding defeat in as many six pointers as they can. Looks like they have the defensive set up and keeper to hold out even if they concede 75% of possession and get mullered on 2/3rds of the pitch. They need homophobic Grey not to get a long ban too.

Right in the 6 pointers but I would put it at 65 35 in the likelihood of relegation...I have know several Burnley fans and they dont create chances ...
