JHRover Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 Is there any decent boozers in the vague vicinity of the ground? Can't even contemplate watching rovers without being mildly inebriated. I've been to loftus road to watch Fulham I think it was and vaguely recall getting off at Shepherd's Bush tube stop where sure there was pubs but that must be 15 years ago and with West London the way it is all those pubs are probably now coffee shops, juice bars, boutique hotels or niche shops selling designer trilbys or something daft. Shepherds Bush Green - directly opposite the entrance to Shepherds Bush Tube Station - there is a Wetherspoons upstairs in the shopping centre. About 10 minutes walk from the ground, decent and cheap beer albeit in plastic glasses. Difficulty is you would need to get there a few hours before the game before the bouncers come on duty and avoid blatantly displaying your colours. Last season we managed to convince them we weren't football fans and they let us in, but can be hard work at turning away fans away.
philipl Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 What? We have to play a football match? Result is undoubtedly in doubt, we will either lose narrowly or get thrashed....

The Bushranger used to be a good boozer in that area. I see there is a Brewdig pub on the same road which should have decent beer as well.

Al Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Just read that the ticket price at QPR is £37 for an adult. Ridiculous!
eddy11d Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 We're going to win here, I can feel it! -------------Steele/Raya Marshall Hoban Greer Williams Mahoney Evans Guthrie Conway --------------Samuelsen ----------------Graham
chor808 Posted September 8, 2016 Author Posted September 8, 2016 Just read that the ticket price at QPR is £37 for an adult. Ridiculous! I paid 33 online and thought that was a rip off, 37 on the door! 400 tickets sold so far no wonder.
Mercer Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 QPR a bit of a hit and miss outfit. Think Coyley has made some decent signings given the parameters he's worked within. Nailed on Rovers' win.
oldjamfan1 Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 QPR a bit of a hit and miss outfit. Think Coyley has made some decent signings given the parameters he's worked within. Nailed on Rovers' win. 4-0 home win it is then.

davulsukur Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 QPR a bit of a hit and miss outfit. Think Coyley has made some decent signings given the parameters he's worked within. Nailed on Rovers' win. Clearly a windup post. And Coyley? Don't make me puke.
G Somerset Rover Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Clearly a windup post. And Coyley? Don't make me puke. Mercer strikes again. There's an ulterior motive behind his predictions, I'm sure of it.
yoda Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Mercer strikes again. There's an ulterior motive behind his predictions, I'm sure of it. Far East betting markets
JBiz Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Mercer strikes again. There's an ulterior motive behind his predictions, I'm sure of it. No you're wrong, he didn't say "Wee Coyley" haha!
mhead Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 Flying in from Turkey for this one and Rotherham, but the fixtures do not matter(or even the results). Do not expect much and maybe the same feeling as Swansea Away in Relegation Season. VENKYSOUT
Husky Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 We normally do well at QPR. This isn't normal. 3-1 to QPR.
