AllRoverAsia Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Yes....but with one eye on the Cricket.
Backroom Tom Posted September 4, 2016 Backroom Posted September 4, 2016 Same under performing team picked though
yoda Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Yes....but with one eye on the Cricket. Especially the ones in Pune
darrenrover Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Well I'm watching. Good luck to BFS, the guy is proud of his appointment and exudes enthusiasm, great to see even though it should be a given. The position means more to him than his wad! Come on England! WE ARE The Rovers!!!
AllRoverAsia Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Boring. Rooney too deep and slowing play down too much. Kane is a waste of space. One shot by England I think and off target too.
chor808 Posted September 4, 2016 Author Posted September 4, 2016 Well that was rubbish. Let's hope he said go out show me what you can do, too much passing about across the back for me.
3rdpillar Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Same old. Not good enough as a team and individuals like Sterling need to never darken the field of play again. Rooney what are you doing. You are the captain playing like a spoilt kid who's ball it is.
matt83 Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Yawn. Can't recall one shot on target. Not even playing like a big sam team. When you appoint a man with a proven style love it or loath it you should at least play it. But it seems he's trying to copy his predecessors by faffing about with it at the back. This style is a proven failure for England and if he continues with it he too will fail. I thought under sam we'd at least put crosses (a dirty word in the modern game) and balls into the box. Nothing.
AllRoverAsia Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Well that was worth a straight red - ignoring that he's already been booked.
Audax Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Can't help but add in, Denmark had a penalty kick vs. Armenia, the Armenian saved it, rebounded out and saved the rebounding kick as well. That was really outstanding.
Amo Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 ITV never fail to turn me against the national side.
Audax Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 edited post; Im getting newsfeed, maybe it didn't happen.
A cup of beans Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 It's a rerun of 10 weeks ago. England have very little goal threat or creativity, but Slovakia are a diciplined defensive unit and were alway going to be tough to break down. That said, the lack of creativity and leadership in this England squad can't be overlooked. Shocking goalkeeping
Amo Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 95 minutes and a one man advantage needed to beat the mighty Slovakia.
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted September 4, 2016 Moderation Lead Posted September 4, 2016 A win is a a win, however it comes.
matt83 Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Relieved. Pretty poor fare though. Normal order resumed it seems. We will qualify without losing in the qualifiers take the odd big scalp in friendlies leading up to Russia then do nothing at world cup.
ABBEY Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 papering over the cracks...that was chuffing suiciding inducing
Jock Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Good. Makes the Rao's look bigger richardheads.
Proudtobeblue&white Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Bloody awful game, but Sam starts with a win, hope madam had it on one of her tv's?
