Shebby Singh on Sky-Sports 25/10/12

Shabby - TIT of the decade award winner, which some on here pointed out when the cretin was appointed.

'We lost our best striker Leon Best' just one of many Shabby golden moments

It's a belter that one from 2010 ^

Allardyce is understood to have objected to the owners insisting that transfer targets would be identified by Kentaro and SEM after he was presented with a list including Middlesbrough’s Kris Boyd, David Bentley, of Tottenham, and Hull City’s Geovanni.

All three players are SEM clients, and the recent transfers of Boyd and Geovanni are listed as “transfer highlights” on the company’s website.

League rules ban any third-party ownership of clubs or players, and prohibit third parties from exerting “undue influence” over a club’s activities.

Any evidence that an agency was favouring its clients in the transfer market, or dealing primarily with clubs where it had strong links, would potentially breach rules.

Neither Kentaro nor SEM would comment on the arrangement on Tuesday, but it is understood that both companies have been looking to get involved closely in club management in recent seasons.

Not Venky's related but an article from 2003. Nothing has changed and Jerome was a bit of a 'character' even then:-

It’s unbelievable that no one stands up and says we’ve got to do something about football. No Members of Parliament have picked up the cause. There’s Richard Caborn, the Minister for Sport – and he’s done nothing.

There are conflicts of interest laws, that’s the whole story of the Deins (David Dein’s son Darren works for the agent Jerome Anderson and has been involved in Arsenal deals) or Nicky Eaden (who received a demand for money from Phil Smith after his new club, Birmingham City, had already paid the agent). It’s just they’re not enforced.

interesting stuff, particually as Mr Bentley had an unsuccessful return to the club on loan. Was it our 2nd season in the championship. Should have been decent. But in reality just another player that never played much again after leaving the club.

Added these to the first post.

As there's no direct link to Rovers/Venky's I didn't add this to my first post, but it's an interesting read for sure and certainly a sign of things to come as far as Rovers were concerned.

Whilst looking for something else came across this on a QPR fans site , towards the bottom of the thread contains the text from various papers at the time of Allardyce's sacking (some already linked in this thread) but interesting is the terminology of the different papers regarding Venky's partners in crime

Makes interesting news. In retrospect the papers knew what was going on to a greater extent than I thought at the time.

and so did the Football Association, still, what are mates for if they can't turn a blind eye now and again. The two former FA officials were probably Kentaro's best signings .

They certainly did so why did they not give us more credit when we protested?

Who knows, the tentacles of two certain agencies spread far and wide, just look at which agency supplied sky sports , plus a lot of writers had it in for Rovers for upsetting the apple cart and not being "fashionable "

100% confirmed by the press reports at the time, Sir Alex Ferguson, the John Williams letter and the legal letter from Venky's solicitors that these agents completely took over all management and operations of Blackburn Rovers, acted as shadow directors and flagrantly abused all football regulations with regards to what agents can and cannot do.

There is every evidence and reason for the football authorities to act against the agents, club and owners.

There is zero intent to do so.

This is what really riles me. So many people and organisations knew the score -long before many of us. They have ducked their responsibility and colluded...

Now they have got themselves into the position, where they are so compromised, they dare not respond...
