Roverall Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 Absolutely disgraceful from Robert Coar. Just remember Robert that one day the truth will out and we will have the last laugh...

davulsukur Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 Threatening supporters with legal action? Classless.
JHRover Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 So was Pasha there? If not then why not? Surely the first thing a man in his newly appointed position would do is use the opportunity to engage with concerned supporter groups?
MGAndy Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 Would be good just to get a thumbs up or thumbs down from each of the lads who attended. Now it's done,...Was it worth it?
blueboy3333 Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 Can someone who attended the meeting confirm Coar threatened legal action, and what exactly was said?
Backroom Tom Posted September 29, 2016 Backroom Posted September 29, 2016 Can someone who attended the meeting confirm Coar threatened legal action, and what exactly was said? The action group were there. It will be good to hear more though
ABBEY Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 Seriously? What a disgrace. Quite happy to take money out of the club but when asked what's he's actually contributing for it he threatens legal action? This should be the headline in the Telegraph from the meeting as that's totally deplorable behaviour. Jumped up little twonk. the venkygraph dare not upset the puppet masters
Dunnfc Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 Just as crucial now than it was before to donate to the India advert. Even if it's a pound, every penny counts and we need to get the message out in India and help Madon. https://www.gofundme.com/venkysadvert
JohnD Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 I'd certainly like to know exactly what was said that brought such a threat..........
Husky Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 Robert Coar: 'We will make sure the owners are aware of all the pound made tonight'. #rovers Freudian slip.
Ste B Posted September 29, 2016 Author Posted September 29, 2016 Points - right. Doesn't sound as though they were asked about agents involvement then. I can confirm they absolutely were asked.
den Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 I can confirm they absolutely were asked. Good. Look forward to hearing a more detailed account at some point. The Wheelock Twitter feed was all a bit bland.
Ste B Posted September 29, 2016 Author Posted September 29, 2016 I'd certainly like to know exactly what was said that brought such a threat.......... They referred to Robert Coar as a copout. It was related to a question about if he would be able to look Jack in the eye.
Leonard Venkhater Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 Ste Do you feel it worth attending? I think it was worth it, if only to get the quotes I have already seen plus the "walk out".....
Ste B Posted September 29, 2016 Author Posted September 29, 2016 Ste Do you feel it worth attending? It was interesting. I thought Coyle came over well and didnt duck any thing. Including the SEM stuff. We did get the confirmation that the real decisions are made in India. I'll try to write something up. But I expect one of the other attendees will do it better than I can.

Did he actually deny that he said he has never heard of them, in contradiction to this http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/news/14535515._It___s_an_outstanding_club____Owen_Coyle_on_becoming_Blackburn_Rovers__new_boss/?ref=mac First and foremost, I don’t have an agent and I don’t know who that company (SEM) is.

Cheers Ste !Glen already tweeting away but it will be great to hear the individual thoughts of the 4 of you who went.
Ste B Posted September 29, 2016 Author Posted September 29, 2016 Should we have gone ? Fair point but im glad we took who we did in as they asked the right questions. We need a meeting with Pasha tbf and that was asked for. *i think that was PK

Whats Geln's twitter account?

I wonder what David Conn would say if he was informed Coyle had never heard of SEM?
Dunnfc Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 glen mullan @glen9mullan 8m Coyle stated , everyone has heard of SEM , and denied he said he hadn't , he said he just hadn't met Anderson
perthblue02 Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 I wander what David Conn would say if he was informed Coyle had never heard of SEM? Apparently he has heard of them now he's got a couple of wins under his belt
