Abbey might be right in that it is systematic of the system and most benefit accordingly as players move clubs.

I think most of us had got the gist this last few years. George Graham was one the first highlighted if memory serves me correctly.

Some of the names mentioned, as listed on that satirical website, surprised, whilst others didn't.

We really need that classless Scottish weasel identifying. I wondered when Eric Black was mentioned whether we had moved one step closer to Rovers being highlighted.

So Hughes on the list but 24hrs earlier Peter Coates chairman and owner of Stoke voicing it's never been cleaner!

It was probably very mucky in the past, so that statement might well be true. It is now only a bit mucky, as they only have one employee on the fiddle instead of a whole host of them.

Allegedly

He'll worm out of it everything seemingly done in such a way that it's impossible to trace any comeback. They knew what they were doing the conversation Sam was having in that fake meeting took place about 7 years ago in Zurich for real with another fat conman in the chair. They knew how they were going to go about in such a way as to baffle virtually everyone into thinking it was just a cock up.

Besides that someone somewhere must be feeding names and info to these people investigating. It has to come from inside the game, maybe from some who have their own baggage to cover up.

Stoolpigeons !

It's all a bit of a tease at the the minute. So many Rovers connections in the articles -Sam,Givet, Black, now Hughes....Either Kean or Anderson? and the drinks are on me!

Interesting that Coleman came out so strongly...as it was he, who recommended Kean to Sam....

Kean and him were great drinking buddies whilst at Fulham together, I seem to remember being reported by one of our southern based fans.

Yes, I remember.

Anyway, Coleman is certainly going big on distancing himself from all this...He must have known about Kean's..er connections, as the slug couldn't keep his big mouth from bragging after a few drinks....

Andy Cole's prophetic little bird had a Fulham connection too, didn't it?

David Bernstein saying in the press that Allardyce shouldn't have been paid off for gross misconduct and the FA isn't capable of properly investigating explosive claims of widespread corruption.

This is the sort of thing fans want to hear, not cr@p like "Entrapment has won today"

Well iif course they can not if the cant affi5rd to investigate Rovers how could they afford a widespread investigation.

If the 8 is true, then that changes the landscape. It's gone on for decades.

Delighted that Black is being fingered. A disciple on Kean, who defended him and stuck the boot in to the fans at every opportunity. Karma, man!

I like many are upset by Hughes being implicated.

He saved us and gave us some wonderful moments.

However; a greedy sod is a greedy sod and they all deserve the same punishment/ scorn.

They are greedy of course but it seems it's always been the done thing for British managers so rather than be completely corrupt they are just going along with it for a few extra quid because everyone else does maybe.

All part of the perks of the industry you might say and the FA have known it's going on but don't go to the trouble and expense of doing anything because it could ruin the game as we know it. Like they said to Rovers fans and probably other clubs fans we can't do anything until a smoking gun with fresh finger prints on it lands on our desk. Until then it's just rumours to them.

Well they are well and truly going to be tested now, I expect there'll be a few seeking early retirement now in the corridors of power like Cameron and the rest of the rats jumping off before it all sinks.
