A clean sheet is always pleasing even if your opponents rarely score. Good for confidence for our keeper, back four, defensive midfielders, the unit as a whole as all contribute.

Pleasing? There was nothing pleasing about today's match.

We need to start winning our home game. But first we need to look like we WANT to start winning our home games.

Coyle's only reputation point (his Bumley success nearly a decade ago) was based on attacking football. If he is now down to grinding out 0-0 draws at home we may as well shut the doors.

Something positive? Well, we weren't locked in and were able to leave once the game was over.

Even the other day, when we played Accy Stanley, we brought a number in. (Lewis) Hardcastle played, (Willem) Tomlinson played very well, big (Lewis) Mansell, or Nigel as I call him, continues to get better as a striker"

Even when the Club is owned by people without a clue, and the Board want to sue the fans, you can always rely on Owen Koyle, The Archbishop of Banterbury, to saturate Brockhall with his fun-time vibes. He calls him Nigel! Geddit!?

If he thinks Mansell resembles a striker then we really are in trouble.

Just placating Venkys through the press trying to make out everything is going to plan and the next crop is coming along nicely. He should have been flying to India in the break and banging on their door to spell out this squad isn't likely to be capable enough of staying in this division in it's present under funded form !

Yes Stuart i can confirm 100% that keeping clean sheets in a football match is pleasing. As a former centra half it was my primary objective each game as it genuinely increased our chances of winning. It also guarantees a point. In pro football it is especially important as the margins are much narrower.

I am presuming you know all this anyway and were just irritated with yourself for going. You could always stop you know. It's not compulsory.

I can tell you sat there for an hour thinking of that :D

No I simply like ckean sheets in pro-football for our team probably more than most.

But its the only poditive I can think of!

Sounds like Kean with a bit of a sore throat.

The highlight of Bowyer's tenure was that 0-0 draw. Still can't listen to the bloke.

Jeez, Venkys have hired some awful 'managers'

Positivity really is in short supply. :(

Come on Bowyer had this club on an even keel, what are those 11 million movements in his last spell on the P&L? Historic player contract monies?

Guy looked as if he built a team on buttons, made fortunes through the good agents even who temporarily alienated Sasha/SEM Etc. BRFC drawing 0-0 away and losing 1-0 at home against Liverpool, what have we done since?

Gaz is a Manc with no affinity to the area but became much of the furniture at Ewood over 11 years, boring he maybe but he installed passion and reembarked on the history of the club. I'm assuming the pictures in the tunnel etc of being champions are no more? A Gaz idea to remind the short term loanes and freebies of who they were playing for.

Said it then 40 goals is great but we still had a midfield of Lowe/Williamson etc, which would prompt longish balls to bypass but still better than losing the ball and defending all game under OC.

I wasn't a Lambert fan. Happy to admit he'd have probably got us in the PO's with a Bowyer squad, but he couldn't have built it which is why Gaz deserves some appreciation. Flawless tatically Gaz could spot a player, and had each and every one working for him. Lambert i came to admire no doubt he will go on to better things but he messed up in January. He got the team fit as i could remember under Sam but sold Rhodes, so many games he made Duffy/hanley resolute and needed a goal.

No doubt i Lambert is easily a good find the EFL.
