After failing to agree new terms with the club, Benjani has left the Rovers. It is understood a number of Championship clubs have shown an interest in signing the Zimbabwean striker.

Rovers goalkeeper Jason Brown has joined Aberdeen on a two-year contract. The Welsh international's career was restricted to 16 games in six seasons at Ewood due to the consistent form of Paul Robinson and Brad Friedel.
