After speculation in the media, stating that Rovers were considering loaning out Matt Jansen, once Hakan Sukar was fit, Graeme Souness in his post match interview today admitted that the club may consider letting Jansen go out on loan, so that the player can regain match fitness.

Souness stated that Matt now needed competitive match practice, and maybe for Jansen to have a decent run of competitive games loaning him out would be the best option.
