Backroom Mike E Posted November 2, 2016 Backroom Posted November 2, 2016 The ads don't give any appeal to me. I just write stuff I need to remember down. It's basically a dictaphone with voice recognition and connectivity as far as I can tell.
J*B Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 "Did you mean; 'Remember to brass yoyo from the super karting'" Written all over it.
Backroom Mike E Posted November 2, 2016 Backroom Posted November 2, 2016 Like Jason Manford's cinema booking routine: 'Which cinema are you hoping to visit?' 'Bolton.' 'Did you say... Milton Keynes?'
Glenn Posted April 13, 2017 Posted April 13, 2017 Call me paranoid, but an always-on listening device in your house, at a time when suddenly people are seeing the value in encrypting private conversations for privacy reasons, I'd rather not.

Have you disabled the microphone on your phone?
Glenn Posted April 13, 2017 Posted April 13, 2017 Kinda. Both it and my laptop have 3.5mm audio jacks (with no mic attached), pretty much permanently in. I *know* it's feasible at a firmware level to still enable the inbuilt mic when the external socket is in use, but it's the best I can do.
