Time to bounce this FKW out the door with his band of dozy goons the tub thumping pillock.

Yes Venkys are the root cause and we want them gone at all cost but this guy and his methods are back to stinking the place out. If we are going down lets do it with someone who'll get a fight and a grind out of the team not some jibbering agents stooge. Same old players turning out the same old shoddy performances ably aided and abetted by the crap he's signing.

McCarthy may get potted, he's the man for this kind of job. It would be awful to watch but we'd have a fighting chance.

What will it take for the axe to fall on Owen "the outstanding candidate" Coyle?

He is inept in every aspect of his Management and to watch him sat on the bench, hands cupped around his face screaming "instructions" to the players is embarassing

Make no mistake this guy is taking Rovers down. I accept we have a depleted squad with injuries and a number of players who are of a lower standard than recent years but a competent Manager would be achieving more

We all know where the cause of our problems lies.

We all know that Coyle has had difficulties in terms of a budget and bringing players in, yet Coyle knew what he was getting himself in for and jumped at the chance to manage this club and get his foot back in the door in English football.

We've been in the bottom 4 all season long. Even when it might seem 'unfair' on the manager to sack him when he's had a tough job to do, in this industry there can be no room for sentiment and the club has to come first. We are going down. There is a dice to be rolled which might, just might, save us if a sensible decision is made and a competent manager brought in who can galvanise and most importantly organise this team. Cardiff rolled the dice and it will keep them up with Warnock. Wolves rolled the dice and it will keep them up. Wigan rolled the dice and it is still to be seen whether that change will work or not. Derby and Villa are now out of sight after being down at the bottom a few weeks ago.

I can handle relegation if the club appears to have attempted to change things to avoid it. If the club makes changes mid-season in terms of playing or coaching staff in an attempt to salvage our league status but we still go down then at least I can believe they tried to save our skins and there's 'no regrets'. Just plodding along with this guy and his 2 clean sheets in 24 games and doing nothing to change things is unforgivable.

In November last season a good man with a long running history at the club who had earned them millions in transfer fees was ruthlessly sacked with the club in a safety position having not been in the relegation zone all season. Now a bloke who has delivered a consistent bottom 4 position is being kept in place?

There's a non-footballing agenda in place here and it stinks.

Very noble.. But if relegated AGAIN these owners better sell or India Food Factories will be on fire.

And there you have the Venkys!

Coyle should never have been appointed in the first place and wouldn't have been but for some highly dodgy dealing while Cheston was on holiday.

This of course explains why he won't be sacked and is secure in his position until we are in League 2 with Blackpool..

With every second that he remains in charge of our football club, the more obvious it becomes that the owners are not here for footballing reasons.

We've been through this before though, with K**n. And it's horrible.

Yep, keep on spouting positive soundbites and tell them fans how close we are to going on a good run. Also make sure you hammer home that old chestnut we will definitely not be relegated. After all is said and done, you can always steal another of Kean's statements when we are relegated.

Sometimes you have to take a step back to progress.

Same feeling of despair that I had when Kean was here. Not going to be sacked, continue with moronic positivity about not being anywhere near the drop zone come May, mouthpiece for the owners on subjects such as contracts running down, lack of signings, commitment to the club..

I've got to keep telling myself that Coyle isn't the target here, but something about that man's interviews, touchline manner, false optimism just really makes me so angry. Wins are now back to the same stage as Kean whereby they can't be enjoyed because of the smarmy told you so comments we have to endure.

When was the last time our fan base felt that we could pull together and get behind the club?

By the way - That @#/? genius Kean could only manage a 3rd place finish in the S-League this year. 8 points behind 2nd and 9 points off the top spot.

Don't forget the classic 'this club has been getting lower and lower every season' line. Except of course in 2013-14 and 2014-15 when Bowyer delivered noticeable improvement and top half finishes when he was allowed to be a football manager and sign players.

Coyle was the 'stand out candidate' because he would deflect attention from the REAL issues following his past connections and managerial ineptitude. It's clearly working to plan. What manager could get a consistent tune from our squad? (My pals and I all agree that it's the worst squad to wear blue and white in our 50+ years of following Rovers and the 'best' are on loan and have no real allegiance to the club)

I agree with Tyrone, our club IS purposely being run into the ground. Why else would the Ians have been treated with such disdain last summer?

Coyle is cr*p I wholeheartedly agree but he ain't the problem.

We should be seeing the annual Daily Mirror love in article soon, about how Kean has got his club into the Champions league for Pub teams.

Think back to Norwich and one or two others and see the way he sets out against the better sides at home and the tactics and subs he employs it's like he's asking to get beat. Then it's just the same old excuses that they have spent more than us and are stronger than us.

Then he goes to Newcastle where the betting odds are whoppingly stacked against us and sets up and selects perfectly whilst whipping the lads up into a performance and makes the subs everyone else might make. Then we ask why is that possible when it's the opposite way around normally.

Dodgy !
