Norbert Rassragr Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 Dunny is a fully paid up member of the venky club Get real Abbey, he's 100% Rovers............... I agree, he is not the brightest and is probably happy to stick up for any of his superiors. He's also been crap at Oldham. What did he say about the Coventry City protesters Athlete?

Someone posted what he put on twitter about the winning goal v Sheff Utd after the pitch invasion its on this forum..
Cherry Blue Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 Don't want Dunny. He's a true blue but needs to work with proven managerial team first. Difficult to say who would be best manager in present set up but I want Coyle out (second choice). Once venkys go (first choice) we can start again. Big wish I know.

A true blue wouldn't stick up for kea' & venkys or slag fans like me ( who got proved correct) .. player great .. true blue ... not a chance
Parsonblue Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 I would hope that Johnson and Dunny wouldn't opt to take this gig on a permanent basis if offered. They have done wonders with the Under-23's and have the potential to become an excellent management duo in the future - but not at this moment in time. Coyle needs to go and go quickly. I think he is a decent guy who has done his best but clearly his best is nowhere near good enough. It's a results business and he hasn't been able to get enough good results to keep us out of the bottom three after half a season. Something needs to change and as the owners seem intent on remaining the only change possible is the manager. We need an experienced head who can sort out the defence to give us a fighting chance of staying up. Having said that I suspect the only folk interested in this job will be those who have been out of work for some time and are desperate to get back in the game.
ABBEY Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 A decent guy parsons wouldn't support kea@ or have slagged fans off or lied about stuff on the first presser .... he's poisonous scum
JHRover Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 If we had any sense we'd be on the phone right now to Ipswich asking them if they'd let McCarthy out of his contract and whether he'd take the job with the promise of a healthy bonus for keeping us up. Ipswich fans have got fed up with him and he probably needs a change after 4 years there. Failing that anyone with any sense would then be speaking with Gary Rowett and Billy Davies to see what they would want/need to come in and try to keep us up, even if that meant just a deal until the summer and then reassess at that point. All hypothetical of course because Coyle's going nowhere, and even if he does the chance of getting a qualified, worthy, experienced candidate is zero. Those who nearly got the job in the summer before Coyle magically appeared on the scene have now found jobs elswhere. Joyce at Wigan, Slade at Coventry, Warnock at Cardiff, so I'd expect we'd struggle to get any of them. I still think Robinson is their dream candidate. His name has cropped up repeatedly over the years for reasons unknown. I expect the 'best' we'd be looking at is someone like Keith Hill or Alex McLeish, but whoever it would be they wouldn't get a fair crack of the whip in any event.
Norbert Rassragr Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 Yep. Dunn showed his true colours when he crawled up Kean's bumhole and waved the flag for Venky's and the shadowy agents. Salgado and Nelsen stood up for what is right and were forced out. Dunn slithered and dithered to keep a contract as his legs were falling apart.
arbitro Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 His comments under kean and more recently on the Coventry protests have been nothing more than a utter disgrace Oh and his managerial reign at Oldham was a whopping success He is so out of touch with how the majority of fans thinks it's frightening. In all honesty Dunn's priority has been himself in the football world where selfishness is one of the main requirements.
Neal Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 Not that another manager is the answer but Gary Rowett is the only man for the job.

End of story. Decent guys are not involved in the second most dodgy appointment of all time (K**n being the first).
chaddyrovers Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 If Coyle is sack then I would expect Johnson and Dunn to take over until we get replacement. Similar situation to when Berg was sacked Bowyer took over until Appleton was appointed
philipl Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 I think we are getting ahead of ourselves having a nice little banter about managers who in reality should never be let anywhere near the home dressing room at Ewood. In fact this thread shows how much we are in the dregs of football and who is enjoying wallowing in the tub of sh*t. A quick reminder that there is no vacancy although in reality ownership, board, management and playing staff are all vacant as are 20,000+ seats at Ewood every match. Sadly, Coyle is in for life or at least until relegation to the National League (a fate looking ominously likely for Accy this season). The only thing that will disrupt this sad stasis is if we stop getting lucky at the back. Within ten minutes of the restart yesterday Barsley funked TWO three against ones. Otherwise 2-0 would have been 4-0. Well that's the difference between the Premier League and the Championship. However, the difference between the Championship and League One is that sometimes Championship clubs do take a decent percentage of their chances as Norwich did at Ewood... Our next two games are against clubs smarting from from awful recent results against us and more to the point, have put opponents to the sword this season to the tune of five or six. A couple of absolute hammerings for Coyle simply because opponents take their chances, not necessarily because Rovers get noticeably worse, might unseat this utter dead beat.
AdamRochina Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 Oh he's still here, I'm sorry to the people who said they heard something but as soon as I read it I rolled my eyes. He's going nowhere anytime soon, this talk of new managers is a waste of time be productive go slap a biscuit out an orphans mouth, it would be alot better then thibking of Blackburn rovers
Athlete Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 Any normal club would twist and apoint a proven manager with a track record of turning it round.. But unfortunately we aren't a normal club so we'll probably stick with Coyle or hire another poor manager
blue kiwi Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 do not want to start a new thread, but someone said to me today on the beach thay anderson was 1st introduced to the club by the walkers trust is this true.
Rover_Shaun Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 Time for a Poll Vote of Confidence: Do you think Owen Coyle will keep Blackburn Rovers in the Championship?
Oldgregg86 Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 I will be shocked if one person says anything other than absolutely not
davulsukur Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 I will be shocked if one person says anything other than absolutely not There is literally not one thing in Coyle's reign of terror that backs up such a claim (if someone said he would keep us up)
Cherry Blue Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 I've had a tenner on coyle taking us down since he took over.
tomphil Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 do not want to start a new thread, but someone said to me today on the beach thay anderson was 1st introduced to the club by the walkers trust is this true. I'm very sure the club had dealt with Anderson and his clients well before the takeover. Also it's been said he was a pal of V's way before as well. Sports, Entertainment, Media remember, then consider Balaji and his ventures/parties. Likely he was always in the background, spotted an opportunity and put himself forwards.
