Blackburn Rovers fans propose a sponsored march against Venkys. Starting at Ewood Park from the Jack Walker statue at 11:30AM and finishing at Deepdale. Please join us

To the people of Blackburn, this is not just about losing football matches, this is about the very future of the football club and the very fabric of Blackburn.

Yes, along the Preston Old Road route with a pub stop planned mid-way I believe.

They had to have a police escort when they walked from the Fox and Hounds to the aqueduct to "bury the coffin" after we got relegated. Would the police allow it?

I believe the Police have been contacted, but no objections/amendments have been raised as far as I know.

I'm not really sure how the police could stop someone who wanted to walk along a public highway from Blackburn to Preston. Its a free country (so they say). If the police want to occupy themselves 'escorting' people along the road then that's their decision.

yes. Typo as i was thinking of the old road as i typed. The old road way could have led to collections in every pub to the cause
