I think it was Gav who posted on another thread that a lot of the big names in football rally think they are above the law. Their arrogance is simply astounding and they need hammering by the authorities and made to pay every penny that they have not paid in tax (just like we would have to). Just how much money does the likes of Ronaldo and Mourinho need? And it's just another reason why lots of people are turning away from football and I believe that this particular bubble will burst.

It must be terrible for these guys, being unable to keep their millions at hand, just in case the boiler breaks down, or the car suffers a puncture. On the Sky redundancies, is this the first sign that they are paying over the odds and the fans are no longer prepared to pay £70 plus per month to help make mediocre players millionaires?

It is time this madness and greed stopped and for me, the sooner the better.
