Our fantastic points tally for December...we are knackered to put it mildly!!

Coyle has hidden behind the first 7 games a few times, stating that 2 points from those games was a poor return, but not accepting the blame. He has been stating that he inherited a threadbare squad, but once he had his signings in place, post the first 7 we have had a decent points return.

Given the 2 points from the last 6 and after tomorrow probably the last 7 he can hardly hide behind this any more. I know he is unlikely to be challenged about it, but for those who do correspond with the club, perhaps this could be pointed out.

Good point. He's mentioned the "first 7 games" so many times. Never understood why. But should definitely be pulled up on it after we lose to Newcastle and have had the same points tally over the last 7 games.

I think he has mentioned the first 7 simple because we won game 8. That way he eliminates the first 7 and bingo, at one stage we looked as though we were on target for a decent season. After the back to back wins and interspersed with 2 draws, suddenly he is nominated as a contender for the November manager of the month!

If he can eliminate 7 games from his CV then we need to highlight his reference to this and hit him/ the media with his results over the same time frame based on the least 7. We are after all using his criteria here, to show how bad he really is.
