Backroom DE. Posted December 26, 2016 Backroom Posted December 26, 2016 It's that what annoys me almost of much as the rubbish on the pitch. The bull @#/?. Say what you want about Lambert but before the Chicken Chokers @#/? him off he told it like it was ! Dat positivity tho.

A cup of beans Posted December 26, 2016 Posted December 26, 2016 I enjoyed "Resign you c##÷.. resign" Heartbreaking watching that. As a boycotter I'm still in shock.

J*B Posted December 26, 2016 Posted December 26, 2016 I've been blocked by the Rovers twitter account for saying a half season ticket is the worst present a fan can receive this Christmas. Initially I was a little shocked, but realistically they're probably doing me a favour. Bet that twitter feed is in over drive tonight.
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted December 26, 2016 Posted December 26, 2016 Why oh why did I open that link Me too.

I was destroying them when Coyle was first appointed, assumed nothing you could say would get you blocked. I'll have to try harder.
Stuart Posted December 26, 2016 Posted December 26, 2016 Most toxic atmosphere I've witnessed since Kean. Chants against the manager, team and owners for the full 90. With hundreds waiting at the tunnel to abuse Coyle at full time. Long overdue but alas will achieve little, totally dysfunctional club. Kids, Matt? Or a cross-section?
J*B Posted December 26, 2016 Posted December 26, 2016 Damn. I was destroying them when Coyle was first appointed, assumed nothing you could say would get you blocked. I'll have to try harder. This is my second time blocked, first time Alan Myers got me unblocked almost instantly on his arrival.

Backroom DE. Posted December 26, 2016 Backroom Posted December 26, 2016 This is my second time blocked, first time Alan Myers got me unblocked almost instantly on his arrival. Jeez, now I feel like I've been giving them a really easy time. I held down the link on my phone to open in a new tab but then cancelled it. Just couldn't bring myself to read it. Don't worry, it's basically the same quotes recycled from the last few matches. Nothing new.
Mattyblue Posted December 26, 2016 Posted December 26, 2016 Real cross section Stu. Felt like years of frustration came spilling out. 'Not fit to wear the shirt' 'Same old s***, every week' 'Coyle, time to go' 'Venky's Out' 'Venky's, sell the club' Full xmas selection. Plus I think the entire Ewood Blues contingent gave him a send-off at the tunnel (myself included).
chaddyrovers Posted December 26, 2016 Posted December 26, 2016 Awful performance. Tactics awful. No tackles. We had chances and some good ones but we should have been down 1 nil in the 1st minute. And probably 2 or 3 down before they scored. Barnsley midfielder Hourihane ran the show today. Good player.. We need a new direction on and off the pitch now.
Mr. E Posted December 26, 2016 Posted December 26, 2016 I honestly, honestly was not aware that such utter, pitch black darkness is even possible.

Are you sticking to it this time, or will a 1-0 fluke against Huddersfield sway you?

I've seen the footage on Fb but could only see kids in the foreground (it was filmed quite low down).I can't remember the last time a manager resigned but unless this guy does I just don't see Pasha doing anything. Coyle is the guy who can soak up the heat for them. It really is Kean all over again.
chaddyrovers Posted December 26, 2016 Posted December 26, 2016 Thanks for that Chaddy. What happened with the sending off ?Lenihan made a two footed challenge(look like that) on a player in the middle of the pitch. Stupid challenge. Now out for 3 games.
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted December 26, 2016 Posted December 26, 2016 Lenihan made a two footed challenge(look like that) on a player in the middle of the pitch. Stupid challenge Centre half diving in in the middle of the pitch a couple of minutes from the end. Yeah, that's really smart play. Maybe he's got a mini break sorted for the New Year somewhere nice. Denis Law used to do the same thing.

Play for Owen Coyle or celebrate New Year's far away from the black hole that has become Ewood Park. Hmmm.

Coyle on the radio said that the fans should have supported the team from the start rather than having a go and many of those having a go do not attend home games. Mark Atkins said the fans paid good money to travel and some of the players were not trying and were not good enough. Super Atko!! Why would he resign.....no pay off.....always wait until you get pushed.

He was never wanted to begin with. If he dares turn his aim on the fans he should be hounded out of the club. Of course, at the next home game he'll get a mild round of applause whilst the odd person yells "COYLE OUT" and gets shouted down for not getting behind the lads (ffs).

Yes they don't attend home games.... wonder why Pretty much admitting that they are quiet happy for the vocal fans to boycott ewood. Gives them an easy life while they pluck attendance figures out the air.
Mike Graham Posted December 26, 2016 Posted December 26, 2016 OC on BBC R5: "The Rovers fans should look at the positives. We are producing plenty of chances. The Club is famous and plays in nice shirts, and they are not bottom. My bank balance is looking good, and my Bet 24/7 account is doing nice and dandy thank you. The fans ought to appreciate the past."

Sad but true.Home and away crowds are very very different.
