good to see 3 academy players on the bench

Looking at the team and understanding they are there purely due to horrendously shallow squad depth, it isn't particularly good at all.

A midfield containing Lowe, Akpan and Feeney is vomit inducing.

I would have had Greer in defence and Mulgrew in midfield in place of Lowe but that is too much to ask.

We must have somebody better than Feeney too. I know Parson said he played well in the cup but I have NEVER seen him be anything other than abysmal and that is all I can go on. Sorry but I'm not prepared to take somebody else's opinion over my own eyes.

I'd have put Emnes on the right wing but I'm not the manager. If you want him to stay PLAY him.

Feeney did played well last week after watching the game back on Rovers player.

Emnes isn't a winger tho Al.

Eh? He's played on the wing plenty of times at former clubs.

Sorry but I don't believe that, maybe an improvement on his usual dross but that doesn't make it good.

In my opinion Emnes has all the necessary skills to play on the wing and does all his best work from wide positions.

Does Marshall get any shots on target these days ?

He's just blasted one way over the bar, he did that at least 3 times in the last game, does he do any shooting practice in training ?

Wow - uncharacteristic of a Rovers side; striking back.

More to do with Ipswich being terrible, I think.
