Great chance to progress, agreed.

However, I do feel you live in a bit of a bubble in which the last 6 years have never happened (for us or Pool),

'Rovers V Blackpool, Lancashire derby, magic of the cup, big away following, good home turnout'

We'll be lucky if there's 4000 there.

Im with you. The price is largely irrelevant. Those who want to attend will carry on attending. Those who dont want to attend would put the tickets on the side and forget about them if they sent them out free in the post.

Would certainly be a bit embarrassing for any FA member who is connected to the club , that a game in the FA's jewel in the crown competition is abandoned due to their protection of dodgy owners, associates and former FA business partners.

Imagine there would be a few tutts in his direction at the next meeting to see how many bottles of Chateau Mouton Rothschild Pauillac can be sunk for the good of the game

I don't get this saying goodbye to Bowyer business. He did a moderate job and showed his true talent was in spotting players but as for tactics and setting teams up he was found wanting. He will have been really well rewarded for his time as manager and would have increased his salary massively from when he was working in the Academy. In football people move on, it's a by product of the business they operate it.

I won't be there but if I was I wouldn't be applauding him pretty much like I never did for any returning manager or player.

I will applaud anyone who made my experience of following Rovers better. Personally I don't think Bowyer did. He may have tried to, but he didn't succeed.

Do we even consider Blackpool a derby? I have absolutely no feeling toward them, positive or negative.

I do. I remember some tasty encounters in the seventies. Wasn't that where the ammonia chant started?

Questions for Bowyer: were you sacked at halftime in the second game of that record shattering THREE game run? yet still claim credit for the third game? Are you a Donkey brain?

Bowyer was an over promoted coach appointed only because he was inhouse and cheap. He then failed as a manager with one of the Divisions best squads and strikers.

I will not be donating to the farewell Cake to be presented to Boring at Ewood but suggest thay a sponge jelly mix would be apt.

Better still would be to present Bowyer with a big Stone...or Rock...and I dont mean a stick of Blackpool...

I have to say i dislike Coyle more than Bowyer.

Coyle is quite capable of organising a Rovers loss in this game.

It was always fierce rivalry in the seventies, as was all derby matches. The obsession with Burnley seems to have ended all other rivalry.

PA sport ?

Blackpool sold just 32 tickets in advance for last nights game and probably had no more than 50 there. Their last tie v Barnsley had over 2k Barnsley fans there making up most of the actual crowd just t put things in perspective from their end.

Anyone thinking this will be a decent crowd is in cuckoo land unless Rovers come up with some unbelievable ticket offer. The club will spin the GB line to death no doubt although that's a bit embarrassing for Coyle. Those who want to pay homage can do so but nobody is stopping a swift exit after, just saying.

This will be the Bowyer who said to me and Baz after the fans meeting at Ewood "and I had to miss Corrie for that". He had a few digs at the fans in the press as well if you all remember.

He did well financially for himself at Elwood. There is obviously little gratitude for it reading his latest comments.

I keep in contact with the pool fans after the joint protest in pre season. This should be a great opportunity to do it again.

When we went 20 odd games unbeaten under Don Mackay i wonder how many times he said 'unbeaten run' ? I'd wager it was after a lot more than 3

We had a lot of unbeaten runs under Bowyer, mainly consisting of 1, 2 or 3 games of draws !

Still that would look quite acceptable this season.

Riverside is closed for this game.

Darwen End for away supporters only.

Einstein not needed to work out what comes next for future fixtures / next season.

Perhaps sometime soon, we get an announcement that on police advice the game is to be played behind closed doors.

Should be something put together for Blackpool fans if any there 'Scabs' should get them tickets to be with our fans together.

Fans coming together peacefully against owners.

Not sure there 10 Scabs are protesters mind.

How come they can call the fans that go to games Scabs for funding the owners. Cant fart on her with out someone crying.
