Dolly blue Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 I have just listened to Johnrose on Radio Lancs and my blood boils. Clearly , he knows nothing of the real happenings at Ewood. "Put up with it, support the boys" was basically his mantra........disgusted... I will be at the Brown Cow tomorrow to support the " Venkys out" campaign....and do you know why........BECAUSE MY CLUB MATTERS TO ME........PLEASE, PLEASE JOIN ME AND OTHER REAL FANS WHO ARE TRYING HARD TO SAVE THIS CLUB
OJRovers Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 " in the region of 1,000 home tickets sold " according to the club. 2nd hand info to me, but can't see why whoever spoke to the club would make it up. I

J*B Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 Heard 4K Rovers, 2K pool. Not sure if that's sold or sold plus freebies. Nobody knows for sure though, all speculation.
blue kiwi Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 be very suprised if the real gate is more than 4k myself.
J*B Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 be very suprised if the real gate is more than 4k myself. Had it confirmed more tickets have been sold for this than vs. Swansea in 2015 so over the 6k mark.
Mike Graham Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 3,600 sold by Rovers Pool have 'promised' sales of 1,200.......whatever that means.
MGAndy Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 expecting a defeat tomorrow good for the bowyer appreciation society
Atty Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 Its thats from the club it will be bulls**t they been lying for along time now on attendences. I expect them to announce 10k tomorrow as thats standard now. I Would not trust a word thats written in the LET or comes from the club as its just pure bull. The only time the club cares is when its season ticket renewal time.
MGAndy Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 people buying tickets for this match :- dont mind giving money to venkys dont mind giving money to oystons dont mind giving money to the FA ignorance is bliss but it means you are a bit stupid EmptyEwood
47er Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 I am afraid that point needs emphasising. From reading this thread, it is clear that neither the protesters or those protesting the protest have any concept of how dangerous and dirty the forces are we are battling. The people who have wrecked the Rovers won't be happy reading this https://www.nytimes.com/2017/01/27/sports/soccer/blackpool-fc-blackburn-rovers-fa-cup.htutm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter&_r=1 Well done Mark Fish! What a brilliant effort Mark! New York Times ahead of LT!
47er Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 At the end of the day you basically attacked him because of his age and because he doesn't agree with you. There are clearly many folk who don't agree with each other in the present situation but civility costs nothing. As for the game, I'm sure I will enjoy it regardless of the result. I suppose I'm fortunate in that I've never lost my enthusiasm for the club these past fifty odd years, just as Al hasn't lost his enthusiasm over a much longer period. Can you just confirm PB that if a Phoenix club arose out of any ashes(should things go that way) you would support it? Because I find that tremendously encouraging if so. Bring your mates with you and we are on our way!

If there is a Blackburn Rovers playing at Ewood - be it Blackburn Rovers 2017, 2018, 2019 or whatever date is attached to the name - I'm sure we will all be there.
47er Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 I heard 5k home fans tickets sold Don't be such a pessimist Chaddy.

The reason I see this as very significant s that whatever league a "new" Rovers started in, it would be one in which attendance figures would be way more important than they are now. If we could keep say 5000 fans we would have a tremendous advantage over our competitors and would be back in the big time quite early. No Venkys, a club owned by supporters and local business people, actually IMPROVING season by season, that would be a dream come true for me. I know I'm getting far ahead but we do need something to sustain us in these dark days.
Butty Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 I heard 5k home fans tickets sold Well I hope you enjoy sitting in the lifeless morgue ewood has become these days Chaddy and that you enjoy the game. Couldn't think of anything worse than going on the game tomorrow sitting in a silent ground watching two shocking teams play. How anyone would choose to go to the game tomorrow rather than protest is beyond me but each to there own.

I understand the point you are making but can you imagine the scramble for power, character assassination, finger pointing and general mud slinging from the 'protestors' and 'non protestors' as the fall out from liquidation would rumble on, and on and on for years to come I think - if the past few months/years are anything to go by.
Waggy76 Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 Who is going to win ? Defeat tomorrow and Coyles, tenure beyond the next match , will look difficult ... Personally a draw will be the outcome.... Venkys out !
