Amo Posted January 28, 2017 Posted January 28, 2017 And yes I want Venkys gone as much as you but I cant give up being a season ticket holder or going to games. The 18/75 protest didn't involve either but you shunned that, too.
blueboy3333 Posted January 28, 2017 Posted January 28, 2017 Just as I thought. Oh and I'll assume what I like fella, given that response I'll assume much more about you... I'm sure a few others will too. 'Quick, quick, gang up on this other poster with me' Child.
4000Holes Posted January 28, 2017 Posted January 28, 2017 Apologies if anyone has posted this already. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/fa-league-cups/blackburn-blackpool-boycott-fa-cup-venkys-out-oystons-protest-a7549966.html
blueboy3333 Posted January 28, 2017 Posted January 28, 2017 The 18/75 protest didn't involve either but you shunned that, too. Which of the protests have you been on? Or matches for that matter? Have you done anything, ever in relation to BRFC?
Backroom Mike E Posted January 28, 2017 Backroom Posted January 28, 2017 The 18/75 protest didn't involve either but you shunned that, too. Nor does the 2.15pm match today. Do the right thing chaddy and show 5minutes of solidarity. It literally won't affect you watching the match as normal.
Amo Posted January 28, 2017 Posted January 28, 2017 Which of the protests have you been on? Or matches for that matter? Have you done anything, ever in relation to BRFC? Awww, chaddy's white knights are right on cue. How sweet.
matt83 Posted January 28, 2017 Posted January 28, 2017 First fa cup meeting in 57 years. The old man summed it up talking fondly about his memories "1-1 at Ewood our equaliser came from a scramble 3-0 at Bloomfield road etc etc etc etc. I can remember it like it was yesterday. Now I couldn't care less." I'm guessing 57 years ago 30,000 ish watching both sets of fans loving their respective teams representing their respective towns and now a range of apathy to hatred from a decent percentage of fans towards their own clubs.

Recall in late 1970's after Rover v Blackpool game and the struggle we had getting up Livesey Brch Rd due to the mass of away fans on their way back to Mill Hill station with echoes of that seaside accent. Won't happen today!
Husky Posted January 28, 2017 Posted January 28, 2017 @#/? it! In the end the terrible weather here swung the balance. I'm just not used to the cold and dampness here. I've only been back 12 hours and I feel like I've caught instant pneumonia. Needless to say several hours out on the street in this doesn't seem like the best idea. I'm not going to the protest, but neither am I going to the game - so it's a protest of sorts. Hope everything goes well. As for the game. Bowyer will come here with his Liverpool away plan and get a 0-0 draw.
blueboy3333 Posted January 28, 2017 Posted January 28, 2017 Awww, chaddy's white knights are right on cue. How sweet. Come on precious, don't be like that. I was just asking a few questions. Are they too difficult?
bigbrandjohn Posted January 28, 2017 Posted January 28, 2017 Now Wolves have beaten Liverpool hope they fork out the dosh for Marshall

philipl Posted January 28, 2017 Posted January 28, 2017 Just a slight under estimation with both grounds packed over 51000 at Ewood and 32000 at Bloomfield Road Probably won't be 10% of that 51,000 gate today
perthblue02 Posted January 28, 2017 Posted January 28, 2017 Probably won't be 10% of that 51,000 gate today Wonder if Gaz will be bringing his player tombola , they could draw the "official attendance" numbers out of that Another periscope feed https://www.periscope.tv/FanVoxCo/1LyxBwqEnREKN#
AggyBlue Posted January 28, 2017 Posted January 28, 2017 OK, decided not to go. Sat with the radio and messageboard. COYB, let's make the next round.
Reedy You're A Star Posted January 28, 2017 Posted January 28, 2017 Is it just me, or have they turned the PA system up again?
philipl Posted January 28, 2017 Posted January 28, 2017 Is it just me, or have they turned the PA system up again? What?
Reedy You're A Star Posted January 28, 2017 Posted January 28, 2017 Sorry, sounded like the PA System was booming on radio Lancs. it's gone down again now since they came back from that link. Must just have been the radio.
AggyBlue Posted January 28, 2017 Posted January 28, 2017 Get in. Gally 1 - 0 A reported great cross from Lowe Anyone in the ground? A low crowd? Can't hear any crowd on the radio. It's on freeview, 720
Mark Atkins' Bald Patch Posted January 28, 2017 Posted January 28, 2017 Get in. Gally 1 - 0 A reported great cross from Lowe He'd be great in league one that lad!!!
Backroom DE. Posted January 28, 2017 Backroom Posted January 28, 2017 Get in. Gally 1 - 0 A reported great cross from Lowe Well, he and quite a few others in that team are now playing at their level so we should expect some decent performances.
gumboots Posted January 28, 2017 Posted January 28, 2017 There seemed to be a fair number of people turning up buying tickets. Disappointing turn out for protest but about 1000 sounds about right. Just on way home now
