And yes I want Venkys gone as much as you but I cant give up being a season ticket holder or going to games.

The 18/75 protest didn't involve either but you shunned that, too.

Just as I thought. Oh and I'll assume what I like fella, given that response I'll assume much more about you... I'm sure a few others will too.

'Quick, quick, gang up on this other poster with me'

Nor does the 2.15pm match today. Do the right thing chaddy and show 5minutes of solidarity. It literally won't affect you watching the match as normal.

Which of the protests have you been on? Or matches for that matter? Have you done anything, ever in relation to BRFC?

Awww, chaddy's white knights are right on cue. How sweet. ^_^

First fa cup meeting in 57 years. The old man summed it up talking fondly about his memories "1-1 at Ewood our equaliser came from a scramble 3-0 at Bloomfield road etc etc etc etc. I can remember it like it was yesterday. Now I couldn't care less."

I'm guessing 57 years ago 30,000 ish watching both sets of fans loving their respective teams representing their respective towns and now a range of apathy to hatred from a decent percentage of fans towards their own clubs.

Recall in late 1970's after Rover v Blackpool game and the struggle we had getting up Livesey Brch Rd due to the mass of away fans on their way back to Mill Hill station with echoes of that seaside accent.

Won't happen today!

@#/? it!

In the end the terrible weather here swung the balance. I'm just not used to the cold and dampness here. I've only been back 12 hours and I feel like I've caught instant pneumonia.

Needless to say several hours out on the street in this doesn't seem like the best idea. I'm not going to the protest, but neither am I going to the game - so it's a protest of sorts.

Hope everything goes well.

As for the game. Bowyer will come here with his Liverpool away plan and get a 0-0 draw.

Just a slight under estimation with both grounds packed over 51000 at Ewood and 32000 at Bloomfield Road

Probably won't be 10% of that 51,000 gate today

A reported great cross from Lowe :o

Anyone in the ground? A low crowd?

Can't hear any crowd on the radio.

It's on freeview, 720

Well, he and quite a few others in that team are now playing at their level so we should expect some decent performances.

There seemed to be a fair number of people turning up buying tickets. Disappointing turn out for protest but about 1000 sounds about right. Just on way home now
