So Pascha came out, you shouted at him, and he went back in. It's an outrage.

What did you shout?

No, he came outside whilst we were protesting to have his photo taken in front of us all, he knew perfectly well what he was doing, he and his colleague were laughing. I shouted his name, he started to walk back into the building ignoring me (of course) and then rightly got some abuse.

Why do you look to provoke and pick at people? It doesn't help any debate.

Don't bite. I've spelled it out for him civilly.

We got to the ground very shortly before kick off and as I said, there were no more than 100 outside the main entrance.

At that time perhaps, before hand there were 300-400... That may be even under estimating.

You've changed the story a bit. So are you now saying he was deliberately laughing and provoking protestors? If he was then he shouldn't be surprised if he gets some stick. No sure abuse is ever warranted. Probably why he went back inside.

II asked a perfectly reasonable question. Lots of provoking and picking at people on here. If you don't point it out in future I can only assume you are trolling me. Disappointing. You always struck me as fairly reasonable.

You would know if you'd have protested.

Whilst I don't agree with it I've no problem at all with people protesting, it's their prerogative. I do have a problem with people wanting us to do as badly as possible.

Find me someone who's willing to take over the Club and pump a minimum of 150m into it and I'll join the protests tomorrow. Until then I won't be protesting and that's probably why more people aren't either. The protesters however shouldn't feel downhearted about any perceived lack of numbers as you can only do your best and if people want to protest in future they will do and the numbers will increase over time.

My point being as it would have been nice to have had another protest together.

I am reasonable. Your sarcastic comment of 'it's an outrage' was not part of any question. And trust me I don't troll anybody.

I enjoyed the match today and in spite of what the no sayers said the crowd of 9,700 looked about right. The Jack Walker Upper was packed around me and the atmosphere was great. Two cracking goals and a win. Gally had a great game. You can't ask for much more for a fiver.

Few posts on the subject now and the tone seems to indicate you're happy to belittle the protestors Mercer?

Hopefully that's not the case, you've been in the trenches apparently in years gone by.

Went in the Jack Walker Upper today - near my old season ticket seat. 7500 on today tops; 1500 in Darwen End and BBE apiece and 4500 in Jack Walker...

600 - 700 marched down Livesey Branch Road at 2;15...500 PROTESTERS outside Players entrance at 2:25... protest march then went behind the Blackburn End then back down Nuttall Street as was to see Pool fans in to Darwen End.

Rovers and Blackpool fan unity was very impressive, today's protest has been very effective but there are none so blind as those who will not see.

.

I'm the first one to call out these inflated crowd figures, however the JW was way over half full today.

Well I hope you enjoy sitting in the lifeless morgue ewood has become these days Chaddy and that you enjoy the game. Couldn't think of anything worse than going on the game tomorrow sitting in a silent ground watching two shocking teams play. How anyone would choose to go to the game tomorrow rather than protest is beyond me but each to there own.

You've changed your tune from defending Coyle and belittling the protesting voices at Wigan away.

Glad you enjoyed the game Al.

In terms of crowd just under 10k is decent in the circumstances.

Said to the wife today that I should be really looking forward to a local 4th round cup game in front of a passionate 20k plus crowd. I wasn't bothered one bit about missing it. It really is a sad situation.

Definitely not!

A couple of 'Rovers Fans' near me were up in arms at the first rendition of 'Venky's out' during the match (and unless I didn't hear anything earlier, this was not until 20 minutes or so before the end) coming out with the usual drivel 'get behind the lads', 'support your club' - they were left in no doubt where my sympathies lie !

Admit I couldn't see the JW lower tier fully from my viewpoint but 7500 - 9500 for a Lancashire derby 4th round cup tie is still shocking...and a savage indictment of those who have connived in the ruin our club.

JW was as full today as I've seen it for some time.

Bearing in mind that in 4th round ties, each club gets 45% of the gate receipts with 10% going to the 'pool', it is most unlikely that Rovers would inflate the match attendance !

IMV, todays reported attendance was possibly the closest to reality I've seen since the Venky's took over.

Can only comment on what I saw which was very close to kick off.
