Clearly you are desperately unhappy that we won unlike those of us who enjoyed seeing our team reach the last 16 of the Cup. Not something that happens every year so certainly something to celebrate in these tough times.

Please dispense with the smug @#/? routine because we won one game. I couldn't give a toss whether we win, lose or draw while Venkys are overseeing our demise.

Then why come on the match thread if you have no interest in the match. Strange to say the least.

Nah, that's not strange. Your wilful ignorance to our plight, however... now that's a doozy.

Its because we were @#/? before the Walker era mate. Sometimes we're @#/?, sometimes we're not, go to the football and carry on regardless. Save yourself the energy.

Jesus, you must have a super human throwing arm. I will bring the tennis balls you bring the motar we'd need to get them over the stands

As for a zero attendance I don't think anyone in their right mind would think that was possible. However for example a sub 5k attendance for a league game would get the ball rolling.

Hey ho. Lets keep on and there may yet be a zero attendance when the locks go on the gates

Still laughing?

Still stoped play!

Never mind. You've always got your own club to support in Spain. Seriously, if you can't enjoy a win - and they've not been exactly thick on the ground this season - what's the point of supporting a club.

Everyone must be buzzing after beating bowyers team. Now we know how everyone else felt whilst he was here!

There league 2, us in 2 years time! How to get excited over that??

Should be excited over the attention the protests have received.

Today was all about getting into the fifth round and we did that and can now look forward to the draw on Monday. Those involved in the protest seem to be pleased with how that went so everyone is happy!

This thread is about football though as its the match thread.

Well that's true! But most threads go off-topic to some extent or other.

You cannot divorce what's going on at Rovers on the field from events off the field, try as you might.

Your insistence on doing this makes it look as if you have your head in the sand( to put it kindly!)

With your knowledge and record of support you could be an asset to those looking to push Venkys out.Instead you are looking inward not outward. As you have said many times, people have to make their own choices and espouse their own views.

However from my point of view it's a sad choice you have made.

The media attention they have recieved as been very good and positive. But they arent going to force Venkys out. Not affected by the protests one bit.

Mark Fish has come across very well.

Doing nothing is not going to force Venkys out. They want everyone to do nothing to keep destroying us!

Everyone who can be should be doing everything.

Media attention is everything we need, more people see it support it. Tells everyone we are not happy.

Brings shame and bad press to the FA. I liked the idea of a vote on FA for parliament to discuss it.

A serious question to Chaddy Parson and Rev,plus any other non protesters.

What do you think the next protest should be about, would you ever join in a protest or are you happy with the venkys regime.Serious question.

You've changed your tune from defending Coyle and belittling the protesting voices at Wigan away.

Hahaha are you for real? I never belittled the protesting voices at Wigan away I was disgusted at that game at the treatment of our own players by our own fans that game, I've never once criticised fans for protesting about Venkys as I'm a protestor myself. I'll just never be one of them who'd boo and shout abuse at my own players after ten minutes of a game. And I put an extremely stupid post about Coyle before the season started I now regret immensely so hope that clears that up. Never had a good word to say about him since, because he's proven himself to be the joke of a manager many predicted him too be.

It's not all about forcing them out or affecting them because we all know that's a pipe dream at the minute. It's about going down with a fight, our club is on the road to destruction and protesting brings the fans together and gives people a little bit of hope that maybe we can get out of this mess. I've still got my season ticket and still go to every home game but whenever there's a protest I'll happily miss a game because the bigger picture is a lot more important Chaddy. Maybe you'll realise that when Blackburn Rovers Football Club ends up with a winding up order and Ewood is knocked down to be replaced with an apartment block, because that's where we're heading. And that's why people protest, not to affect venkys because as you say patronisingly as usual it doesn't. Millions of Americans protested and marched on the day of Trumps Inaugaration, do you think any of those people believed protesting would get rid of Trump? Probably not. But it's not all about that, it's about fighting for what you believe in and for what you love, and not rolling over while this football club spirals into oblivion. I've just got in from a night out and I'm sat reading this on my phone with slight double vision so if none of this made sense, let me off. #VenkysOut

That was a good afternoon, thoroughly enjoyed the game. Rovers controlled play for probably 80 of the 90 minutes with Blackpool rarely looking to be a threat. I expected 2-0 down they would have a real go at us but that didn't happen. While partly this was due to Rovers approach of "if you want the bsll come and get it" I thought Blackpool lacked any real desire for the game.

Some decent but far from spectacular play from Rovers and two really very good goals. Perhaps we should have been more adventurous in the second half but it was job done. A few league displays like that would help.

Looking forward to Monday night and hope for a decent draw.

In that one well written reply, you just highlighted the whole problem.

You refer to the protestors as 'THEY' when surely it should be 'WE'? Everybody wants to see the back of the Venkys and everybody supports Blackburn Rovers.

Nothing will ever succeed whilst a 'them and us, scenario exists. That applies to both 'sides'.

Edit: 47er, you were awake longer than me ! Well spotted.

Don't expect a reply. Direct or difficult questions tend to just be ignored until they are forgotten. Very Venky like in its approach and more than a bit rude.

Agree with every word Paul. It was the most composed performance we have given in a long while. After the second goal it really was game over.

Dont forget the level of opposition

See how it goes against Leeds

Side note

I was on the ground for the last 5 minutes with other protesters

I saw Coyle havin a right good go at Bowyer who seemed to just be telling him to "fook off dingle".

I think Coyle was trying to say "See I told you they love me more than you Gaz"

Havent thought about what the next protest will be or when. But we cant influence the owners to sell the club sadly.

I want Venkys out as much as AndyW does or any other Rovers fan.

You clearly do not want Venkys out "as much as any other Rovers fan" or you would have joined in the 1875 protest.

and we will play a few more soon.

Parson, where would yesterday's "composed performance" got us six years ago?

We'd have been thrashed, wouldn't we.

We've come a long long way down.

It really is about time you accepted our new status is the result of our "new" owners.

Years ago Parson, when I was newish down under, my family and I would sit down to a sunday evening meal, we'd have the news on, after which they would give the English football results.

There was a boo (from me) when the Rovers were beaten, a cheer, when we won, and the reverse for Burnley. There was a bit of euphoria when we won, the spirits were lifted. Monday morning wasn't so bad after all.

Fast forward to the present time, and it's a Ho Hum, we won, the euphoria has gone, it's flat as flat can be. It's the same feeling I get when I hear Manu 4 whoever nil. Total disinterest.

This is what has happened over the last 6 years, gone from punching above our weight with the big boys to mixing it with the dross, that's what we have become, the dross. Surely you can see the demise?

Undoubtably true, but so what?

A year ago, the Venky Reign of Terror hardly made a ripple outside of east Lancs. A vague recollection of some hoo hah around that Kean bloke a few years ago, ' haven't heard much from them since that got relegated, always at the bottom anyway, weren't they? They always had crap crowds didn't they? Didn't deserve PL like LEEDS''

This season's protests have got our plight in the mainstream, the large amounts of fans taking part in 18-75 to the the vast amount of media outlets covering yesterday.

We are now in the public consciousness like Coventry, like Charlton. It all builds a head of steam; at Ewood Park, if not Pune.

I'm not particularly interested in trying to convert everybody to a protester, waste of time and energy- a crack team of activists and the stats are all we need- 25000 to 9000, mid table PL to verge of League 1 and so on.

Win the air War, forget mass involvement in the ground war. A shame that chaddy et al doesn't want to get publicity for our plight, but frankly we don't need them.

Onwards!
