PeteJD13 Posted January 20, 2017 Posted January 20, 2017 I don't think Venkys have any intention of selling just cashing in on what they can ,the only way out of this mess that I can see is administration then goodness knows what happens. We still have fans who blame fans rather than the owners for the mess until we get a majority of fans unified and this would need the boycotters come back and join the protests outside the ground to keep sending a message. When we go down apart from the initial rovers are down the spotlight wont be on us anymore its up to the fans like CAFC and Cov fans etc to keep up the fight and highlight the clubs plight.

Iceman Posted January 20, 2017 Posted January 20, 2017 Boooooooooooooooo Why couldnt we have sold the club to Anil Ambani instead of Venkys
booth Posted January 20, 2017 Posted January 20, 2017 Perhaps he would have failed the FA's fit and proper test. More likely Venkys were looking to make a profit.
chor808 Posted January 20, 2017 Posted January 20, 2017 Can't we get hold of this lot, we have a much better kit than Forest. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38679890
the original david brent Posted January 20, 2017 Posted January 20, 2017 New York Rovers Supporters Club have sent a gift pack containing Rovers shirt to McNair with a letter asking him to reconsider. Obviously will be in vain but got to admire their efforts.
booth Posted January 20, 2017 Posted January 20, 2017 I suppose they can't buy something that isn't up for sale.
tomphil Posted January 20, 2017 Posted January 20, 2017 Give us 100 million or we'll destroy it. It's been like a script from Austin Powers since Venkys & partners arrived.
koi Posted January 20, 2017 Posted January 20, 2017 I suppose they can't buy something that isn't up for sale. I don't think that's strictly true. It could be the asking price is just ridiculous...
1arC Posted January 20, 2017 Posted January 20, 2017 Don't forget the statement that the club is worth more this year than last!
davulsukur Posted January 20, 2017 Posted January 20, 2017 New York Rovers Supporters Club have sent a gift pack containing Rovers shirt to McNair with a letter asking him to reconsider. Obviously will be in vain but got to admire their efforts. Fair play to them.
booth Posted January 20, 2017 Posted January 20, 2017 I don't think that's strictly true. It could be the asking price is just ridiculous... Oh it will be, but that's as good as putting a not for sale sign on it.
yoda Posted January 20, 2017 Posted January 20, 2017 The lunes are never here, no one can find Pasha, why don't we just take over, if any one at Ewood questions it, we just make them an offer they can't refuse
yoda's brother Posted January 20, 2017 Posted January 20, 2017 The lunes are never here, no can find Pasha, why don't we just take over, if any at Ewood questions it, we just make them an offer they can't refuse squatters in venkys out
Steve Moss Posted January 20, 2017 Posted January 20, 2017 Hasn't he bankrupted four businesses, settled in court for scamming people with a fake university, and earned less with his inherited money than if he'd just put it in the bank? Doesn't seem like a businessman of sense to me. 1. 4 businesses out of hundreds went into business reorganization. Pretty good odds of success if you ask me. 2. It depends on what you believe his wealth to be (different sources have different opinions) and whether you think applying hindsight to the low end estimates is reasonable.
Butty Posted January 20, 2017 Posted January 20, 2017 Give us 100 million or we'll destroy it. It's been like a script from Austin Powers since Venkys & partners arrived. Hahaha possibly the greatest analogy of our situation I've seen. Spot on.
yoda Posted January 21, 2017 Posted January 21, 2017 If the Yank has looked at it and declined, does that mean he has been in contact with the bunker bungalow. Every one knows the bungalow joke
Claytons Left Boot Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 squatters in venkys out Now THAT is a good idea. Wrong thread, I know, but I don't think "squatters in a football stadium" has been done before. That would make the news!
McClarky Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 To be honest it's very depressing when the only escape from the Venkys is to be bought by another dodgy speculator after a vanity project. Without some kind of fan involvement it's worth nowt.
Amo Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 When the club has finally been decimated and we're languishing in League Two on the precipice of falling out of the football league, maybe they'll be something left for the two Ians or some local consortium to salvage. By then, most of the damage will be irreparable and it will be a long journey back to our former glory – if at all. People need to remove this false hope of a takeover. It's not going to happen. Venky's won't want any incriminating evidence left behind when they finally sell up, and when they do it'll probably be to one of their dodgy contacts than to a genuine buyer.
yoda Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 Now THAT is a good idea. Wrong thread, I know, but I don't think "squatters in a football stadium" has been done before. That would make the news! If planned correctly it could be very impressive, Is WAR still in existence ?
