Stuart Posted January 25, 2017 Posted January 25, 2017 I heard that match tickets were £10 for Pool fans and that included a free coach. So... maybe they are buying match tickets as a cheap way of getting a return trip to Blackburn but they don't intend on going inside Ewood. I think they would enjoy the idea of Oyston transporting them on a protest trip That's a bit counter productive as they will be counted in the attendance.

arbitro Posted January 25, 2017 Posted January 25, 2017 Whats going on between 1 and 2:15? Pretty much my thoughts. I will be going but I don't want to be stood outside the Brown Cow from 1 pm until some feel good and ready and have had a few beers. If somebody could confirm what time the march will commence I would be grateful.
blue kiwi Posted January 25, 2017 Posted January 25, 2017 thats why a game played at griffin would have been far better,a march of 500 meters downhill will be over in 10 mins.
Rover_Shaun Posted January 25, 2017 Posted January 25, 2017 2.15 is when the march begins (see previous page). I assume the previous 75 mins are just a squashed pss up😀
Backroom Mike E Posted January 25, 2017 Author Backroom Posted January 25, 2017 Where is the LT coverage? There is nothing on the website. http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/news/blackburn/
pk1875 Posted January 25, 2017 Posted January 25, 2017 The 75 mins between 1.00 and 2.15 will enable people to arrive get a drink. Rallying speeches etc and media interviews and pictures.
gumboots Posted January 25, 2017 Posted January 25, 2017 So no need to turn up till 2 @ the earliest as i dont generally drink.
pk1875 Posted January 25, 2017 Posted January 25, 2017 So no need to turn up till 2 @ the earliest as i dont generally drink. That will be fine, Id imagine the pool fans will want a quick pint when they arrive.
pk1875 Posted January 25, 2017 Posted January 25, 2017 the brown cow holds how many? Done many protests from their to be honest, Garden / Car Park at back is ideal
OJRovers Posted January 26, 2017 Posted January 26, 2017 From LT: A Blackburn Rovers Football Club spokesman said: “Our stance remains the same. We respect the fans right to protest and we will, as we always have, facilitate a peaceful protest." This unnamed spokesman obviously has selective memory, failing to remember the PA system drowning out the protesters, flags being conviscated and military searches for the Darwen End.
JAL Posted January 26, 2017 Posted January 26, 2017 Can you all carry red cards preferably A4 size with a selection of words of your choice.
Husky Posted January 26, 2017 Posted January 26, 2017 Thanks, they managed it four days after the Blackpool Gazette and almost two hours after I asked the question They are obviously reading this forum.

tomphil Posted January 26, 2017 Posted January 26, 2017 Didn't the other guy on Blackpools board make several offers to take over and buy out Oyston ? Seems that just like Venkys with Seneca he's airbrushed that out of history.
Backroom Mike E Posted January 27, 2017 Author Backroom Posted January 27, 2017 This joint protest shows the authorities that fans know what is happening and are willing to unite behind the common cause to rid clubs of deliberately poor ownership. Our next aim must be to target the FA to tighten the 'Fit and Proper Persons', and make them an ongoing, annual test, with facilitation to get fans into joint-ownership if the owners do not meet those standards.
