Keith Harris “now I don’t know too much about that takeover to be honest but what I do hear that as a result of that ownership the Venkys have done superb business in their own country i.e. the chicken business. What they have done for the people of Blackburn though is appalling. Now I don’t suggest there are nefarious people involved however I understand the side effects have been good for them as well………but overall they don’t understand it (football), the people running it don’t speak English, it’s a bit of mystery to me”

Venkys have no knowledge of football and employ people who struggle with the English language. Off the back of buying rover's their chicken industry has profitted. Also mentioned using the club to launder money. After hearing that all forms of protest should be aimed at their chicken business and tarnishing their and the products name over their to have any impact in getting them to sell up. They clearly don't care about anything over here so should probly focus on the FA to get something in place to try and stop this happening in the future and killing our game. Just some of my thoughts.

Would go some way to explain why they continue to hold on to Rovers whilst making huge losses as they are making up for that with the profits increase in the chicken business.

Exactly that. And as long as they are essentially making money in the grand scheme as well as being able to move money around freely why would they sell. Fit and proper, ha what an absolute joke. We need to hit them over there where it hurts and get all fans not just Blackpool but Coventry forest etc and organise one massive protest at the FA. A few small clubs ( in their eyes) making noise what can be swept under the carpet or all together making a stand. It's the only chance we have as football fans.

Henry Winter kept bring the discussion back to us despite Jim White saying "SISU" over and over........Henry mentioned the fact that Keith Harris stated that "some of the money hould never have left the countries it originated in" and whether that may insinuate money laundering.

It felt like people knew that the takeover and running of the club wasn't right and certainly wasn't good for the fans but there was a general feeling of 'what can we do'.

Keith Harris admitted he didn't know a huge amount about our takeover tbf to him......

Can't stand Jim White's smug face. Oh isn't he funny because he wears a yellow tie on transfer deadline day?? (That also goes for any silly sod that wears yellow on that day too, though that's one for the RANT thread)

He's a stinking tool that will never say anything to help us for obvious reasons.

I don't listen to Jim White much, but I sometimes succumb, if they are discussing(hahaha) Rovers. My sense is that Mr White has an agenda to steer discussion away from Rovers onto safer subjects.

At the Blakey's meeting, one articulate speaker referred to Anderson managing/owning many Talksport people...

I think it is time we targeted specific shows, where we will get a fair hearing e.g. Stan Collymore. He was really up for Rovers, Coventry etc on Sunday, saying WTF are the F.A.? etc.

Not sure about 606, unless Kelly is on, but her co-presenter,"Wrighty" is/certainly was an Anderson client.

On a positive note, I have a sense that this is more in the spotlight. Don't give up!

Jim White has always gone out of his way to divert attention off his buddies. He has a face that would be a pleasure to slap never mind his stupid ties.

Yet again people get lost for words when it comes to Rovers and others suddenly clam up. I think that guy nailed it well though, for Venkys it's all about the core business and 'other people' have done well out of it also.

Stinks.

I'm at a loss to understand how taking over and making a complete pigs ear of running the Club could boost their core businesses back home but perhaps someone could explain.

It hasn't Rev. It couldn't have done.
