It's for a taxi rank next to the dug out for next manager to catch it from.  May also be a bus stop next to press room so next manager knows where he's going to be thrown under

Having worked there it would be a surprise as its a location slightly out there portfolio

I read that. I was merely reiterating it with ref to the rumours about Taylor Wimpey. It may be true that they are looking at Brockhall but it's definitely not connected to this thread

The old " Dane St " cricket ground in the centre of Rochdale was covenanted for sporting use only.

There's an ASDA and Curry's on it now. The cricket club play at Redbrook.

" The Church Inn" bowling green right next to the Rochdale football ground was also covenanted for sporting purposes. Last time I walked past they were building houses on it.
