davulsukur Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 No Mahoney. Just Greer out and Nyambe in.

Stuart Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 So that's -2 so far with Mowbray's decision making.
Backroom Tom Posted February 24, 2017 Backroom Posted February 24, 2017 I'll give him the benefit seeing as he's only seen two or three training sessions but in time want to see Mulgrew as captain and Conway not in the team

G Somerset Rover Posted February 24, 2017 Author Posted February 24, 2017 Lowe CM then. You'll soon learn, Tony.
chaddyrovers Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 Team will play 4-4-2/4-2-3-1 formation by the look of the team selection Steele Nyambe Lenihan Mulgrew Williams Feeney Guthrie Lowe Conway Emnes Graham Didnt expect him to make massive changes. Lets see how much better we are attacking and defending wise.
Backroom Tom Posted February 24, 2017 Backroom Posted February 24, 2017 Kightly playing worries me massively, the type of signing that keeps a team up. In defence of Mowbray the side performed excellently against United it would be harsh to change much. Maybe slightly hasty earlier I don't think many managers change it up drastically till they fail on their watch.

AdamRochina Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 A little less optimistic now, Lowe isn't so midfielder well a poor one yeah but he's more useful at right back , needed mulgrew in midfield

We all hope to be proved wrong but he's proved countless times that he's a downright awful midfielder. TM should have done everything not to have broken the Mulgrew/Guthrie partnership after Sunday.

Ricky Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 Could Mulgrew have been struggling a bit I wonder. He pulled up on Sunday so wonder if they've thought he might struggle in CM. would be a strange one as he probably shouldn't be playing in that case but it does seem a strange one.
johnradfordsubbuteo Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 Good old Willo and Reg Varney on the bench.

Isn't that the line up that started against United? Mowbray said he'd been impressed so perhaps he's quite happy to send them out on the back of an impressive performance.....

EDIT - Happy to be proven wrong but I'm sure Lowe started in midfield
AllRoverAsia Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 Looking at the bench I pray there are no injuries in defence
