West Yorks Rover Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 I suppose one thing could be in our favour, (if it is pointed out to any half decent candidate who needs a steady job) Bowyer lasted 2 and a half years, Lambert walked of his own accord and OC got far longer than he would have done at most of our rivals in this league, given his shockingly bad record.

perthblue02 Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 With the bonus FA cup money burning a hole in a pocket expect somebody between 15/1 and 33/1
Stuart Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 Just now, Mattyblue said: Decent. Does a lot of work for the club. Guess we'll find out soon enough.
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 A Rochdale supporting pal of mine was at a " Meet The Manager " style event earlier on this season. Keith Hill was asked directly what club he'd be prepared to leave Rochdale for. He said " Blackburn Rovers ".
Pedro Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 Just now, Mattyblue said: Decent. Does a lot of work for the club. Jerome Anderson?
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 Just said on Radio Lancashire that Johnno and Dunny will be in charge on Friday.
brinscall Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 an acquaintance of mine said robbie keane is being touted by an appointed agent to the high ups at rover as player manager. there's positives and negatives there, class act striker, noobie manager with no experience.

That would make sense in a WMG kind of way, Brown as assistant ?
Roverall Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 Senior was in Pizza Hut earlier apparently with a pale, ginger-haired man answering to the name of Gary. The frightening thing is this story came from three sources, and none of them has previous for wind-ups.
danger19_80 Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 Sky Sports News just now reckon Adkins main frontrunner and Rowett not interested
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 Rowett will get a better job before long.
Mr. E Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 It's probably been said, but yeah - coming in as manager here and now is like becoming a captain on the Titanic as its toppling over.

USABlue Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 Rowett's comments from the Birmingham Mail "Earlier this month, Rowett said: "when you look at a club, you say 'firstly, is there a structure there and are there the tools there for you to go there and do your job properly as a manager?'" Pretty much rules us out. Wasn't Adkins on the list when Coyle was hired? I'd be ok with that.
Dunnfc Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 Adkins no where near good enough to be linked to a club like Blackburn. Nice bloke but failed in his last two including league one where we are heading. Not welcome

koi Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 How can you even begin to guess who they will go for?

Who would you deem suitable to be linked to "a Club like Blackburn."?
G Somerset Rover Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 At least Adkins comes across as a nice kinda guy. It'd be refreshing listening to somebody post match who didn't make you want to put your fist through the tv/radio.
