klos Posted February 26, 2017 Posted February 26, 2017 let's have big crowd to back the new manager and a good team performance rovers to win 1-0
roverstdt Posted February 26, 2017 Posted February 26, 2017 I wouldn't be surprised with a draw my only concern is the talent they have going forward with the likes of Ince, Russell, Anya, Bent, Nugent, Vydra, Blackman
Bigdoggsteel Posted February 26, 2017 Posted February 26, 2017 If we score first we can win it. If they score first it will be difficult. I think we can do it. I wouldn't be expecting wholesale changes. I'm not sure if I would like Greer back in. I think he is a bit of a liability. I would prefer mulgrew in midfield, but needs must. I predict we will be unchanged from the Burton game. Going to go 2-1 rovers
Mercer Posted February 26, 2017 Posted February 26, 2017 Great time to be playing an out of form Derby who've had a disastrous month. Can't see anything other than a Tony Mowbray inspired Rovers win by the odd goal.
blueboy3333 Posted February 26, 2017 Posted February 26, 2017 1-1 Schtevie to get his hair-piece tangled in his brolly.

Backroom Tom Posted February 26, 2017 Backroom Posted February 26, 2017 A bit more air out of the balloon and a 0-0 draw
Stuart Posted February 26, 2017 Posted February 26, 2017 Just now, Tom said: A bit more air out of the balloon and a 0-0 draw Really hope not Tom. At the risk of being accused of bigging things up (apparently this is not cool), we really need to win on Tuesday.

Tyrone Shoelaces Posted February 26, 2017 Posted February 26, 2017 Another score draw unfortunately. Got to start keeping clean sheets for us to get wins.

We absolutely need to win I would say, home game against a team that really are neither here nor there you have to target 3 points. If not we need some unlikely wins down the road to stand a chance.
Rover_Shaun Posted February 26, 2017 Posted February 26, 2017 Mercer will predict a 16-6 win but I'm going for a 1-3 scoreline derby will have earmarked this for weeks as a 3 pointer appointing another serial failure as a manager won't change owt
Irishrover213 Posted February 26, 2017 Posted February 26, 2017 Need 6 out of our next two games. Reckon he could go with pace in emmes and gally up front. Not predicting a score once we win
Colt Seavers Posted February 27, 2017 Posted February 27, 2017 Raya, Nyambe, Lenihan, Greer,Williams, Mahoney, Guthrie, Mulgrew, Gallagher, Stokes, Emnes Which is a notch or twelve down from: Gennoe, Price, Hendry, Mail, Sulley, Gayle, Ardiles, Barker, Sellars, Garner, Archibald Would love to go back thirty years (gulp!) and watch those lads again!

RV Blue Posted February 27, 2017 Posted February 27, 2017 .......................Raya Nyambe Lenihan Mulgrew Williams(Lowe) ...Feeney Bennett Guthrie Mahoney ........................Emnes ......................Gallagher

Don't torture yourself! It still seems amazing that we had an ex-Barcelona player at the club back then. What a player.
Fraserkirky Posted February 27, 2017 Posted February 27, 2017 I'd make two changes. Steele Nyambe Lenihan Mulgrew Williams Feeney Lowe Guthrie Mahoney Gallagher Emnes Wingers should be held responsible for the quality of their crossing. Danny Graham done the square root of @#/? all on Friday night.

I hope he is able to play both Mulgrew and Guthrie midfield. Rovers 2 Derby 1

Not one of the current team with the possible exception of Mulgrew would get into that team. That shows more than a thousand words how far we've fallen as a club. It's interesting to see how that team would have been set up. Two out and out strikers. Two attacking wide players. Two attacking centre midfield players. Compare that to today's defensive stodge with teams having two defensive centre mids etc. No wonder the football they played was much more end to end and exciting.

Rover_Shaun Posted February 27, 2017 Posted February 27, 2017 Mowbray got his chance. He picked and kept Lowe as captain. Chance over. Another clueless perenial loser.
tomphil Posted February 27, 2017 Posted February 27, 2017 Rovers 1 Derby 1 If he tightens the back door it's likely to affect attacking play that's just the way it is when you've a weak team. The balance in the squad isn't right and hasn't been for years so focusing on one area is usually detrimental to others. We'll just have to keep grinding away i think and hope for the best, damage already done by god awful owners and parasitic partners, Coyle added to that so Mowbrays first job is try and limit it. 10,787
