tomphil
Positivitiy is great but it needs matching with a healthy dose of realism otherwise there's a fine line till it becomes delusion.......see Messers Kean/Coyle Anyway COYB
Mercer
So Derby confirm their captain Keogh is out and Shackell might have to be wheeled out to play! All set up for a Rovers' renaissance! Bet placed for Rovers' win at 21/10 Off out now for a spot of tea and then on to Ewood to see how Mowbray has waved some magic over our under achievers. Wing Wizard Windy Miller
Need to start winning a few. Starting now. A nervy 2-1 to Rovers after going one down. As an aside, the pitch can't be far off unplayable? My lawn is a quagmire!!

Alex Pearce is a cracking defender still, we've not got a first team centre back any where near his level bar Mulgrew. They also have the veteran Chris Baird whom is still handy. Expecting them to line up: CarsonChristie, Baird, Pearce, Lowe Butterfield Hughes Johnson Ince Russell Bent Ourselves: Steele Nyambe Lenihan Mulgrew Williams Mahoney Guthrie Lowe Conway Emnes Graham 2-0 to Derby... davulsukur
When you put it like that Dunnfc, their team is significantly better than ours. Doesn't Darren Bent always score past us as well?
G Somerset Rover
That Derby side is bloody brilliant on paper - I can't think of a better CM pairing than Hughes and Johnson in the division. Even more reason to keep J Lowe away from CM tonight. Still, they're winless in 6 so a great time to be playing them with 3 points a must given their terrible form. Imagine saying that five years ago. They are on the up though having been through a lean spell under Cloughy, not sure how they avoid FFP as they've spent some wages and fees over the last couple of years. Mel Morris is a big Derby fan though unfortunately he seems to meddle in buying players. Yep he usually notches against us, bit like most strikers we've faced this season tbh. den
The most important game for a long time. We HAVE to start winning home games, even if it's win one, lose one. Home draws will see us relegated.

Still a good bench with; Dave Nugent Abdoul Camara - Very Very Pacy, if they've watched us they'd start him tonight. Old favourites Marcus Olsson, Nick Blackman Craig Bryson - What we'd do for a player like him. Everyone knows about Hughes' quality. Our CM options are laughable by comparison.

Backroom Tom Posted February 28, 2017 Backroom Share Posted February 28, 2017 Argh it's another line up that isn't what I would have liked to have seen. Gallagher in for Graham with no other changes so Feeney and Conway ahead of Mahoney. Bennett really should be starting as well.

G Somerset Rover
Bennett and Mahoney have to be starting over Conway and Feeney - especially the former who has offered nothing for months. Poor selection again IMO.

Backroom Tom Posted February 28, 2017 Backroom Share Posted February 28, 2017 People have said he clearly can't do a full game so I can the logic in bringing him on against tired legs but when the alternatives are Conway and Feeney he should be starting.
