Good point. Expected a loss today, it was a bad time to play them after sacking their manager yesterday.

Disappointing to go back into the bottom three but always likely today with the teams around us playing each other.

We seem like a completely different outfit under Mowbray, very tough to beat. Real belief we may avoid the drop

The goalkeeping hasn't improved

You don't think the manager cared that our most gifted midfield player was sold behind his back?

Thank god we've now got a DOF to ensure communication is of the utmost priority  roll on the summer

If he was Bowyers most gifted player ,why didn't he play him more in position? He is one of the best players in the Championship. Venkys sold him too cheaply,he should have went for more if Bowyer had of gotten the best out of him. Or we could have snook into the play-offs..

Steele made a right hash of the 1st goal, not the first time this season either.Raya needs to be playing, how long are we going to carry him for.

Neither should be playing. Steele is an embarrasment and Raya should have been sent out on loan years ago... The club is stunting his development.

Club has lacked a leader in goal since Robbo the dingle.

JAL think about how this is coming across, earlier you referred to Paul Seniors wife as his bitch and then ask for a Portuguese player to be deported. Not great.

I know you are frustrated with the state of the game and the club itself but let's try and keep a certain level of decency.

Cheers

Edited accordingly Tom

Wrong, hence the reason why Jason Lowe is the first pick on every managers team list whilst Danny is not.

Haha 'wrong'. Not sure how someone as clueless as you can tell people their opinions are flat out 'wrong'. Danny Guthrie played 38 games in Newcastle's Championship winning season, Jason Lowe has been the common denominator in the last 6 years of sh1t at Rovers. Our win ratio with and without him speaks for itself.

Venkys sold him behind the managers back, so a real black mark against them rather than Bowyer

The bigger miss has been Josh King. That one is certainly a black mark against Bowyer. Criminal how he was treated.

I have just watched brief match highlights but enough to see that Steele cost 3 points yesterday. Pathetic attempt on the first Norwich goal.

His hands are his worst enemies. He has little about him that makes a goalkeeper and is steele-ing a living.

Let's hope Senior can find us a decent first choice keeper and sell Steele.

Travelling down to Norwich and everyone was saying how a point would be a great result.  Coming home we were all left frustrated and disappointed at only getting a point.  Such is football.  Credit to Norwich who defended exceptionally well and then exploited the fact that we had had to flood our team with attacking players to get back into the game.  Sadly, it was two points given away due to mistakes - Steele for the first and then the left side not being able to deal with a swift counter-attack.  Mowbray continues to impress with his ability to use his subs early to change a game - something which Coyle was incapable of doing.  I just hope we haven't left it too late with the change of manager as it's looking like this is going to go down to the last couple of games.

This still feels like 2 points dropped I'm afraid. Putting Akpan on for Guthrie was criminal, Guthrie was the only one in that team yesterday who can keep the ball, which is vital against 10 men. Mowbray needs to learn that fast. Hopefully Evans comes in for Lowe soon as well.

Story of our season, bad keeping and very poor down the left side. Williams is poor, we must have better in the reserves

Jason Lowe has over 150 appearances for Blackburn Rovers under his belt, so quote all the win ratios you like, the facts can't be denied, he's the first on every managers team sheet, I wonder why?

Faking injury didn't help his chances of a first team call up, allegedly.

Sorry, have you forgotten who our managers have been over the last 6 years?

Fitting Cairney, King, Rhodes and Rudy into a team may not be a natural fit but it would be worth the shuffling!

Argh, makes me angry thinking about the waisted opportunity with that team, add in Rochina & Judge as well. If only we had a proper manager.

No need to apologies, we all get wrong from time to time, even me :P

Lambert was a proper manager in my opinion, but now that we have a proper manager in most peoples eyes, Jason is still the first name on the team sheet Rv?

13/14's team was (imo) good enough for top 2. Top 6 at the very least.

Hanley, Olsson, Marshall, Conway, Rhodes, Gestede, Cairney, Dunn, Judge, Rochina, King, Dann, et cetera

Sums up Rovers per se.  Williams has done ok at left back and at least it is his natural position.  That said, in terms of quality, this is a guy who wasn't regular left back at Bristol City!  Can you imagine such a player getting anywhere near our club 8 years  ago?
